If anyone is trying to do this with a file without an extension: You can specify any filename or path in your repository. You aren't limited to using file extensions. You could also track a specific directory with git lfs track 'assets/*' or an entire directory tree with git lfs track 'assets/**/*'. You could also track individual files specifically with git lfs track path/to/file which will track only that file.

Looks like you already uploaded the available quota. You either need to buy the lfs storage or just delete the previous one.

The github error message is misleading. You just have to go to your repository settings, scroll to archives and check "Include Git LFS objects in archives", then you can push.

Good video, but you don't really explain what happens to your repo (which I noted already existed when you began your video) after installing lfs. Are there any drawbacks to converting an existing repo to using lfs? Once converted, does everyone else who access that repo also need to install ifs, etc.

Thanks for the info. I used this way to push a .rar file (size 160 MB), it created a new file with the same name in my repo in github. However, the file is empty and can not be opened or downloaded from github .... what is the problem !

It can't be opened but should be downloadable. Could you check the download option just by clicking on the file?

I guess it's not specified from github that how much storage a github profile can have.

It should work. I always do same! If you have mistakenly added the large file to the git, then you might need to revert your changes before uploading it again.
