Hilarious stuff in the beginning, including forgetting the lyrics to his own song. From Sunken Treasure Live - In the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy!

"I don't drink, sir. Been through rehab. Was in all the papers. Maybe you read about it?" Oh.

I've watched this way many times. 😉 You were close enough that I won't correct you. It's a bit sad & a bit good for my soul that I watch this & know EVERY detail and intricacy. (Just went through rehab) Sorry, had to. You be well!

I keep coming back to this video.... year after year. The way that he is able to connect with the audience will always bring me back here. Much love from Nova Scotia, Canada. Thanks for this video. Cheers,

He's an excellent guitarist- was watching a vid of him in Uncle Tupelo and it stood out in one song, how good he already was. He has quite a collection of guitars too.

KidASquared And yet he genuinely thinks that he’s not that talented as a guitarist. Which, of course he’d think

"Jeff Tweedy's endorsing Amy's Fozen Burritos? I think I'll eat some!" "But he said they were terrible; They made the bus smell like hell!" "I don't care how they smell, Jeff Tweedy's eating them!"

Great video! My fave Wico song. Jeff is so cool. Love him. That guy really messed him up. Unbelievably rude. Touring must be torture sometimes!

Right!? and the night before he had people just talking and talking very loudly.. seriously security needs to be on it more.. ruins the experience for others!

It could be taken that way, but it's a saying. You've never heard the expression, 'A Shot In The Arm', i.e. needing a kickstart, a positive uplifting experience to encourage someone along.

Steven F but Tweedy was a painkiller addict, so I think it’s definitely (at least partly) about addiction

No, he said the black eyes suck because he covers their song tonight's gonna be a good night.

The idiot said “Black Eye” sucks. That’s an Uncle Tupelo song from their “March 16-20, 1992” album.

I feel like if Jeff wasn't so painfully introverted and somewhat awkward, there would be less heckling. There's a lot of heckling at Tweedy/Wilco shows.
@deathchips9262 жыл бұрын
really? I don't understand the psychology of a heckler. You paid money to yell something sucks while the artist still laughs all the way to the bank lol.
@jkm93322 жыл бұрын
@@deathchips926 Yes, heckling is totally bizarre. I don't get it.
