This is a lovely song to begin with, I was listening to the lyrics and trying to puzzle them out... and then I at 1:42, when the piano got louder and he started singing out, I swear my heart stopped for a moment. Crazy stuff, this. "Every touch is sacred when they leave the room. If I have to switch the lights off, I wanna switch them of with you." My favorite part.

listening to this song reminded me of the person that i love. i can't see him anymore, and i will never see him again, no matter how much i love him, but this song reminds me that he has a great life ahead of him, and i should too. i keep on loving him, but i should be able to love again. this song is a reminder that life does not end when your heart is crushed. it is simply a new beginning, and i will love again, still keeping him in my heart.

Timeless masterpiece, IAMX band. Chris Corner vocals, what a wonderful talent he truly is, singer songwriter, director and producer. Chris is such an insperation of what can be. Still listening since the Sneaker Pimps. Now 2022.

Chris Corner has some really interesting techniques when it comes to song writing and production. I like how he can take one simple four note progression, build a whole song on it, and at the same time keep it engaging. Simplistic, but when you listen to these things on headphones, they're just brilliant the way they build and fluctuate. There is so much going on in the recording it's baffling. Complex but beautifully simple. That's what makes this stuff so smart. Thumbs up to this guy.
