I love the emotional story the visuals tell. The turbulent water in the first shot becomes rain he mediates then he appears to be drowning in dark waters and then color begins exploding on the screen he spits out the color transforming the dark water submerging him and then finally breaking through an invisible but solid barrier. The end the water is calm. What an artist. Masterful communicator. Chris Corner is one of the finest artists alive. So glad to be here the same time as him.

Shame on me that I had to get 45 y o to discover this amazing artist. Or should I rather be happy that I had the luck to discover him at all during my life time? This voice is definitely not from this earth. I am completely adicted to his voice, his songs and his stunning personality since I listened to him for the first time. Although he is dark he is never cruel, bloody or disgusting. Every single song I listen turns out as another gem. I always feel in good hands and very well embraced when I listen to him. I ask myself why he is not more popular. He should be. On the other hand I am maybe quite happy that he is not because I am not so sure if most of people deserved to know such good music at all. For me it feels like the nightingale amongst the sparrows. Contemporaneously I have the desire to protect him. I still have hope as long as there are human beings like him.

There’s a theme to IAMX videos that don’t interest me personally, beautiful but too perfect. I much prefer watching live performances, that’s hypnotic. Insomnia is my favorite song, I’d love to see a video of that or a song like that, focusing on the emotion of it in body movement and facial expressions.
