My theory is that, since Adam and Lilith were made at the same time, to be equals, and Adam is the embodiment of toxic masculinity, Lilith could very well be the embodiment of toxic femininity. This would explains why she appears to have just ditches to chill in heaven, and why she, seemingly, purposely distances Charlie from Lucifer.

I think the reason Sir Pentious death was so quick was to emphasize how powerful Adam is and how nonchalant he's been treating the fight until Charlie stepped up her game. We expected a sad tragic slow death that lingers on but this went against those expectations to further foreshadow that he was being sent to Heaven after all.

Okay, can I just say as a Lucifer fan girl this episode was my highlight. He's the best dad and so protective of Charlie, his fight against Adam, the "Mr OG I stole your girl" joke, HIS FULL DEMON FORM. And then his part in the final song, Jeremy Jordan is (again) the best. The singing, his movement, the smile he gives Charlie and how he helps rebuilding the hotel with a keyblade!!! I hope in the next season he is part of the main cast, because he is in the group shot besides our main 6 (and Cherri Bomb). ❤

I think the key ingredient that Sir Pentious unlocked was he didn't lay down his life because he knew or even thought he would get into heaven, he did it to protect his friends. Like anyone can be selfless or change their ways if they know it'll be immediately rewarded, but to perform a sacrifice out of pure selflessness or something like that is where true redemption lies. As for Lilith, I definitely think I need more before I even try to guess what's gonna happen with her, though I do like your suggestion that maybe it isn't hell or heaven but purgatory.

Alastor is such a mystery. It’s been confirmed that Alastor is more of an antihero like the fictional serial killer Dexter, if so then what is his goal? We know his soul is in possession of someone else but we still don’t know what drove him to make a deal, let alone who actually offered him that deal. Whatever it is, it’s been hinted that Alastor intends to guide Charlie to learn how to properly use her immense hidden power, not necessarily just for her sake but for his own.

Something interesting I noticed about Lilith. In the multiple family portraits from very young Charlie to teenager? Charlie, we've seen with her...Her nose looks like a typical nose and wearing a pearl necklace. When we see ""Lilith" on the beach she's wearing a different necklace, has a different looking nose...and they didn't show her hands at all, almost everything but her hands and the hair. I'm starting to buy into the Eve/Lilith switcharoo theory. I wish Sir Pentious actually managed to do something before Adam destroyed his blimp, and that Charlie got to do a bit more in the fight in general, but those are more nitpicking than anything. And in episode 7, I don't have much to complain about. I REALLY hope that Adam will be reborn as a demon in second season because Firstly: People say that he was killed with angelic steel and he is dead for good but does not the Adam's power have the same effect as angelic steel? it must have since Charlie and the rest mourned Sir Pentious as if he was dead for good and it wouldn't make any sense if Adam's ray didn't has the same effect. Secondly: isn't Hazbin Hotel about redemption? and who need to be redeemed more than f*cking Adam? And lastly we got new informations about him in this episode that were not explained to us. Like for example the thing that Alastor said to him during their fight: "YOU should know BETTER THAN ANYONE what mortal soul can accomplish when they take charge of their own fate" like brooo. I want to know more about Adam so bad. And the thing Lute was talking about to Lilith about that Adam is dead and Lilith's deal is done? When Adam died, he looked at Lute and smiled. In the past both Lilith and Eve betrayed him (completely understandable), but Lute stayed with him til the bitter end. He was a shithead and had it coming, but that smile adds some depth to his character.

Also my headcanon for why Lucifer showed up at the end: Because for most of the time , Adam and the exorcists were attacking sinners, Lucifer couldn't butt in into the situation, because that was heaven's orders, but when Adam went directly for Charlie, his daughter, and a hellborn, he had every right to protect her, because that wasn't part of the Sera's deal.

I have a theory that Lucifer couldn't interfere in the battle because of the agreement to let extermination happen. But the angels are only supposed to attack souls, not Hellborn like Charlie. So the second Adam hit her, the deal was broken and Lucifer got to help out.

A bit late to this, but there's a theory that the reason why Adam's mask glitched is because he hurt Charlie. Since she's a hellborn and therefore pardoned from extermination, Adam just broke the pact between Lucifer and Heaven. Notice how Lucifer ONLY shows up after this happens, before he was likely restricted from interfering and Charlie getting hurt broke the pact and thus let him intervene. On top of that, Lute was able to rip off her own arm with no angelic weapon needed even though she should be invulnerable and this came after she killed Dazzle who's also a hellborn.

"Adam is dead, your deal is done and i'm in charge now." This can take many meanings. Either she had a deal with Lute to make sure Adam was killed or she had a deal with Adam to stay in heaven. I'm thinking it's the later option since it would fit with Lute saying "And if you want to stay here." might imply that she was hiding in heaven.

Alastor might be an antihero character now but I’m thinking he’ll eventually lead to being an actual hero of some sort, it would make sense since he’s already almost sacrificed his life for the hotel and looked to be confused not only at the back door to the deal he made but also the fact that he did that. I hope they don’t just say “nah fuck Alastor he dies” but I also hope they don’t just immediately change him to a hero I want a slow burn on that or maybe he teaches Charlie to use her hidden power and ends up being the reason for the true finale and causes them to win in some way and is redeemed by that

I think it’s Eve. But I just thought of two other possible characters: Sera (the head Seraphrim - she would have to have a lot of power) or it could be God. Also, could Sir Pent singing the song, ‘Sorry’ with Charlie might have helped him in his redemption? I know, we’ve seen the deadly sins (some of them), but have we yet seen any of the seven virtues??

His coming as a protective father, his fight with Adam, his look and smile at Charlie... They fight side by side. And his voice... OMG he is fucking Jeremy Jordan girl! As a theater kid, every vocal of Lucifer excites me. I hope we see more of him next season. We already see the hotel in the last scene. And there is a tower of Lucifer with an apple emblem. From my understanding of the final scene. As of right now based on what we see. Lilith is not the hero here with some grand plan. It sounds like she had some kind of deal with Adam that got her into heaven. Because Adam is now dead and lute is in charge that deal is over. Lute is saying if you want me to let you continue staying in heaven you need to go down there and sort your brat out because she is fucking everything up. So I think maybe for the longest time lilith was a good parent and wife but at some point something changed. Maybe she'd just had enough of hell, or lost faith like lucifer did, and she made a deal with Adam and has been in heaven for the past 7 years. I have a feeling she will be an antagonist for some of next season, where she suddenly reapears in Charlie and Lucifers lives and tries to push them away from what they are doing. Maybe she will be swayed over to their side again. So who has alastors soul? It seems unlikely now that it would be lilith. If it's not some random powerful character we don't know about I'm thinking it could be Eve. Perhaps the reason alastor and lilith disapeared at the same time was because Eve waited for lilith to not be around to inact her plan. Since lilith was far more invested in hell than lucifer ever was. She may have noticed a powerful demon like alastor dispearing. There are flaws with this theory. Why wouldn't eve be on liliths side. If she blames lucifer and lilith for her taking the apple then why is she helping their daughter from the shadows. There is no hinting at this at all but if lilith is a bad guy it would be cool if Eve became a part of the show and we got a romance between her and lucifer. We'll have to wait and see if they do anything with Eve

For Sir Pentious, I think it always doing things that been holding you back from being your full potential. Like when he kissed Cherri Boom, that was something that was basically weighing on him for awhile (his crush) but once he did that, he fulfilled all of his desires and sacrificed his life with no regrets.
