In BB14 he was able to hide behind Janelle and Boogie because they were still seen as the bigger threats at that time. But now because of his incredible run on that season he would be considered a much bigger threat than even Janelle.

Dan would've found a way to stay. He always said there's a way to get out of every situation. His funeral, and convincing Jenn to use the veto, and got Danielle to pull him off the block and evicted Shane. Nobody has ever had the guts to do that. Dan really should've won over Ian, but, bitter juries ruin everything. He's the only player to play twice and never sat on the jury. Greatest player of all time!!

Nah I got will over Dan but it’s close and Imo I think Danielle Reyes is a better player than Derrick. People keep on mentioning that Derrick is the only player to never get nominated until the final 3 and don’t realize Danielle and Jason did that in only the 3rd season

Gish IX I don’t know how you remember season 14 but Dan certainly didn’t have immunity of any special form at any point in 14. Two of his three players went in the first two boots, and f Danielle had left week two, that’s a wrap for Dan, seeing as it was before the Coaches twist was done. The second the coaches voted themselves into the game they were eligible, and to that point Janelle was the first one voted out after the end of coaching.

Gish IX Also, Dan (prior to this season) isthe only winner to have come back and not be voted out. Will was never leaving S7 before final 4 when the girls talked. Dan was jury bound during Franks 3rd hoh prior to the funeral. The funeral is (imo) the greatest move in Big Brother history, and I would even say in reality tv in general. Essentially, Frank had a gun to Dans head, and Dan convinced him to point it at a bystander.

Gish IX Dan was able to be voted out by Day 6! What are you on? Do you even really know what you’re talking about? They literally flipped the vote from Frank to Kara because she was Dan’s player! He was being targeted straight out the gate, and if it wasn’t for Jojo flirting with Shane he leaves on Day 12! He had 5 days where he couldn’t go home. S14 went for 75 days S7 went for 72 days Will would have been eligible for 2 days more than Dan had he made the final two again, but he went home in his second attempt. It was in fourth place, but that doesn’t even matter, because it never happened to Dan. He made both Finale nights.

Derrick is a great player but he’s extremely overrated. The rest of BB16 players accept Nicole, Cody, and Frankie were dumb. Ian was a great player too but he mentioned BB22 was more challenging than BB14 cause all the newbies were terrible players. Danielle Reyes was never nominated in her FIRST SEASON. But she had the guts to come back. And she was nominated and had a more difficult time cause she was playing against players on her level of intelligence who knew how she played. Dan had the guts to go back in, same with Will, Janelle, Rachel, Ian, Dani, Nicole F, Paul, Cody, Kaysar, Dick, Jordan. I respect winners and runner ups who go back in and players who struggled a lot in there original seasons but still went back. Derrick is a good player but never had any respect for.

It’s hard to judge one time players against returning players bc for the returning players there’s just more to work with. It also depends whether the cast ur given is willing to work with returnees or not, that usually determines a lot. Regardless, Derek probably will never play again for the reasons u mentioned but I still would like to see it

Initially, everyone would be too. However, Ian disclosed that he is on the autism spectrum. My jaw dropped when he said that. He said that rocking on the hammock was a soothing mechanism for him. His rocking back and forth when not on the hammock is also a soothing mechanism for him. It may annoy us, but let's not criticize and be supportive of Ian. It may drive us crazy, but let's be supportive. Big Brother is a complex social game and people with ASD have a difficult time understanding social cues and can get sensory overload leading to panic attacks. I give him major props for winning in spite of whatever difficulties he may have had to overcome.

Ian came out in the show saying that he's autistic, and that him rocking back and forth is a coping mechanism for him (same with being on the hammock). This is due to one of the symptoms that he has: stimming. Autistic individuals who stim will do this to release some anxiety; otherwise, it'll build up on them. Hope that answers your question!
