Love this guy! He's one of the few musicians where you can tell it's him after hearing just half a bar.

for a self taught flautist, he shows the classically trained musicians that with natural ability and flair you can excel.

Dear Lucia! This was a pleasent surprise! You, and Mr Jethro Tull, himself, Ian Andersson ! You have Friends in the music business! That’s SuperNice, 13 years ago… You were a bit younger, then! 26 years. You played very well…Now, I have collected more of your merits! You are my favorite fiddler! And your singing is very Good! Keep up the Habit of overwhelming me…. Take care of yourself! I want more surprises from you! Love from your dedicated Fan

I love his respect for the classics. The layers of sound and emotion are rarely heard today. You can tell a story or hear your own story.

His version from Stand Up blew me away back in '69 and still gives me chills to this day. This version is wonderful.

He never plays it the same way I've seen Tull 10 times over the years and he does it differently each time, so YES it is improvising.

Dear Lucia! I have in my hand the album, Jethro Tull, Original Masters, in 24Karat Gold CD! I digged Jethro Tull, back in the 1970’ years! You have also colloborated with Josh Groban… I have three of his CD’s from. early 2000! I think you have several musician Friends… They all think highly of you, me included… Enjoy the musikal arena! From your dedicated Fan in Lillehammer, Norway!

It is so cool that Ian Anderson endures to this day. His early years were so over the top, but now he's mellowed, yet the same intensity is obviously there. A genuinely decent man.

I'm a 63 year old mom to 4, gramma to 10. My son and I were lucky enough to see Ian and the boys on Jethro Tull's 50th Anniversary Tour in Indio CA on July 5, 2019. During the first set Ian gave us a thrill in the form of a 7.1 EARTHQUAKE! No one does it better folks. ( This was the 3rd time I've seen Tull, the other 2 in the early 70's but the FIRST time I've been treated to a real live earthquake at an event. Thank you Ian, we enjoyed it!).

I AM a huge Tull fan. However....my father,..on camping trips..taught me songs from the Wood! He could take a green willow branch....tappping the bark with his trusty pen knife...loosing the bark...proceeded to make the holes...and within a few minutes a fife! My dad would play simple tunes! Ian would like that!
