frizzy red I never saw Brookside as Eastenders was the only soap I did watch but I don't watch the new episodes of Eastenders now. It just isn't the same as the old days. I in particular loved the old 90s storylines so it's great you can rewatch them (or at least clips) on KZbin to reminisce. Great stuff.

The man at the fruit and veg stall is Ian's dad Pete. Ian enters the house to talk to his cousin Michelle, she lives there with her parents Pauline and Arthur, Pauline is Pete's sister. I never understood how Ian ended up living in that property - he lives there today. You'd have thought the property would have passed to the only one of Pauline and Arthur's kids still living on the Square - namely Martin - instead it went to their nephew Ian. Michelle talks to Pauline at the end of this clip about how her guy was older, she is referring to the man who got her preggers and their child - Vicky - was born as a result. This later turns out to be Den, the man who runs the pub and who is Sharon's dad - Michelle had a baby with her best friends father.
