I fish in Wales and hold a rod license but this funding is only available for English waters. Why should l bother with a license?

Otters and sewage pollution in Bedford is the reason I will no longer purchase a rod licence

Best way to protect our fish is to do as our great grandfathers did kill the otters . I fished Scotland's premium carp lake this year only to find nearly all the fish had been killed by otters! introduced by wildlife lovers

Real pity, that you jump on the bandwagon, without finding out the facts. 1. Whilst otter hunts, existed, they did not kill all otters. In fact a very small amount, in the bigger scheme of things. Far less than what are killed on roads. 2. Otters were on the lake, and natural to Scotland, long before any carp, were stocked. 3. Your prized Carp if being introduced to a lake, should be fenced as this video is alluding too. 4. There have been no otters introduced by wildlife lovers or anyone else in Scotland, for the simple reason their has never been a need. Otters are quite capable of finding their own fish be it in a river or lake. And will exploit easy prey, particularly carp in the colder months, which Scotland has more of than the south of England.

Pity we can't fence the rivers off from Otters too😏

Pity you don't look at the real reason rivers are in decline. Getting rid of otters won't change anything on rivers, especially taking into account that when most rivers where in their prime, otters were also apart of the eco system.
