Fantastic interview. Ben, you’ve nailed it. Your relaxed style but intelligent questions are just what we need. Ian was a great subject and very interesting to listen to. I hadn’t realised he’d done so much, what a legend! I was so engrossed and impressed by his answers to your questions that I’ve immediately donated to the RNLI. I’ve stayed at Penlee in Cornwall and visited the lifeboat station where the whole crew died trying to save lives in 1981. I remember it being on the news and I was so deeply moved. When I stayed at Mousehole and visited it, I cried for their loss of life. It must have affected the village badly. What an awful disaster. I made my donation in their name and to thank them for their sacrifice. Looking forward to the next podcast xx
