I met Johnny before he was an actor. It was '83 or early '84. We went to a small club, it may have been Anaheim, because we were in the process of moving there. His band, The Kids were playing and when they took their breaks Johnny sat with my now ex and I. We talked about moving, our families, siblings and other things. The thing is, none of us had any money back then, and certainly no fame. He was as kind, soft-spoken and curious about us before the fame. That's how I know he is a genuine wonderful person. He never changed.

My relative in San Francisco interacted w/JD in a club he was visiting. My relative who worked at the club was assigned to accommodate his wishes & to make him feel welcome & comfortable. The description of JD was extremely positive. He was humble, friendly, respectful, approachable & very generous. Not at all demanding like some other celebrities who visited there. He was just seeking to chill & recuperate & was grateful to be allowed to do that. He is an appreciative, very kind dude.

We love JD, We met him in LA … My daughter has done small commercials, modeling etc.. We were in a studio getting hair/makeup done, she was only 4 years old lol but he walks in and takes a seat like it’s nothing.. she knew who he was but to young to separate him from being Captain Jack lol He talked to us, like a normal everyday guy….he picked and aggravated my daughter, and would go in and out of character for Captain Jack, he got his makeup done for a photo shoot, as he was working in the studio next to my daughter.. we tried to being polite and respectful, as he had several ppl, coming and going talking to him, and he told them, can’t you see I’m visiting with my best girl, and pointed to my kiddo, she was just all giggles.. lol he was just joking and cutting up with us the entire time, he was just. Awesome!,, that was 15 years ago now…

Darin, thank you for this. Up until May 18th, when I received word that my mother had passed away and I had to return to California, I sat in court in the Virginia defamation trial every day, like many others did in support of Johnny. Long lines, freezing cold mornings, that often started the night before, we were vigilant and committed in our solidarity. Our reasons do so were vast, for me it was empathy, born of personal experience. What I felt from him is as you describe, humble, honest, confident, kind, considerate, more. The man is stoic, yet vulnerable enough to allow a peek at the tenderness of heart he possesses so beautifully. I watched the verdict from home, crying alligator tears as every juror said "yes." I knew with all my heart he would be victorious and on a path of renewal and restoration of his personal and professional integrity. Praises be for his courage and to his guardians, guides, ancestors and creator for standing strong beside him. 😇

Have always Loved Johnny ever since 21 Jump Street, and my brother back then who has since passed on, said he would become a big star, my brother was always great at recognizing Talent. Johnny is a Great Actor, Artist, but most of all a Great Person, he has a Beautiful Soul and it appears everyone that has worked with him or are friends with him all say the same thing, never have I heard a bad thing said about this man, other then Amber.. Even his exes all said he was a good person, treated them with Love and Respect except for Amber and Ellen, who all she wanted was her 15 mins of fame, during the trial.. Johnny is a humble and Loving man, he treats everyone with Love and Respect.. we all should be like him.

just thought I would share form a small town in sunny South Africa... I worked for a local airline for 4 years and I always said I will one day work for Emirates Airlines. Well long story short the company went into liquidation and exactly 18 months later I got the job with Emirates after being unemployed for a year of that. When he was in the province of Quebec for the filming of Secret Window, people were delighted by his kindness and humility. When he was interacting with locals, he was down-to-earth and sympathetic; unlike some celebs who came to work in Quebec who had diva antics (ex: forbidding people to look at them in the eyes, a refusal to get any indications from their director, etc.). With Johnny, I constantly hear great testimonials about how kind he is. Unlike his ex-wife, who has always been reported by people as a despicable and mean diva. Thank you for your great report. This is amazing to hear ❤️I have been following Johnny Depp ❤️ for so long. followed his films. only part of the trial. That's enough for the injured homos. I can believe he is strong and patient. But I actually think he's sad when no one is looking. Because he has a nice soul ❤️So I think it's great to hear you.
