I also love how Ian isn’t just about the Vampire Diaries or Brother Bourbon but he’s about so much more and it’s incredible how comfortable he is talking about everything he loves. It’s incredible how strongly he loves what he does and the ones he loves. Ian is so much more then just Damon, Boone, Adam, and all the other characters he plays. He truly is an inspiration and role model. Honestly I don’t like marshmallows so I don’t do s’mores but watching Ian make them kinda makes me want to eat some😁

Such an inspirational dude! I love that he’s so passionate about family, environment, sustainable ways of life. I thoroughly enjoyed this interview! My family is top priority, no matter what else is going on in life. We try to make time for one another and we enjoy our s’mores frequently together, whether out on an adventure or from the comfort of our back yard. I’ve since discovered Brother’s Bond Bourbon and I’ve added it to our gatherings! Adults only of course! Touchdown Punch was a hit at the bbq over the weekend along with many s’mores and great conversations with friends and family. I like my marshmallows slightly burnt with my s’mores! And my Brother’s Bond on the rocks! Many blessings Ian! ❤️

Love this, I have called out so many times, But my most favorite is roasting marshmallows, nothing but a stick, roasting fire N of course marshmallows, I always get a stick with 2 branches so I can put 2 marshmallows on an put it in the fire , once they catch on fire, roll them around, when they turn black, blow them out N the most delicious Flavor takes over your mouth an do it over N over again. 😋

A Southern favorite: Moon Pie S’more. Picture this… On my farm in Missouri. All day I’m out in nature cutting cedars and working on the barn with my pops. After a long day, we head back into the lodge and share together a harvested deer stake and duck meal. Stomachs full, we open the slide door and head out under the night sky. We toast and share together a drink, and compliment it perfectly with the Moon Pie S’more at the camp fire. Marshmallows cooked slightly outside the flame to perfectly caramelize them just golden, mashed between two gooey Moon Pies with chocolate made from fresh cocoa inside. That’s my ideal night with a Moon Pie S’more to put it over the top!

I truly love how kind of a person you are. My daughter and I, it’s just us, we truly bonded over your show. We already have such a close bond, but being able to laugh and cry over that show is something we will remember forever. Going from seeing you on there to seeing who you are as a real human is pretty neat. I just started taking my daughter camping this last summer for the first time since she was little. We’ve had a pretty tough time the past year. We decided our dream is to own our own RV, travel the world and do as much good for people who need it. We sure know what it’s like to have a rough go and want to help others as much as we can. So to be entered into the contest, we roast our marshmallows together! We put them over a fire, let it catch on fire, make a wish and blow them out. Thanks for this opportunity.

Such an authentic interview, and I love seeing this side of celebrities. Me and my family enjoy roasting marshmallows camping out on by a lake. Love Ian. He's not only a great actor but a huge family man and that's the most genuine thing to see! Roasting marshmallows have always been a favorite. Even when we didn't have a fire going we would still ask for them as children and would "roast" them on the stove top! 😁 slightly burnt and gooey on the inside and not just one line of chocolate you need enough to cover the whole graham cracker!! ❤

My favorite way to enjoy a marshmallow is: slow roasting marshmallows over an open campfire after searching for the perfect stick to whittle down to a point for the marshmallow to slide on. When the marshmallow is golden brown on the outside and gooey goodness in the middle, I like placing it between to graham crackers with milk chocolate, then enjoying every sticky bite while sharing spooky stories around the campfire with family and friends. That’s my perfect camping evening. BTW I enjoy listening to Ian share his life and experiences. He is compassionate and just all around a great human.

I really love this... Ian, you make me the happiest girl in the world, you’ve helped me even in the darkest moments, and for that I thank you infinitely.. I love your commitment, the passion you put into your work, the love you have for your wonderful family, and the magic of Brother’s Bond Bourbon. Anyway... This interview really inspired me!! I roast my marshmallows on a roaring fire, together with my family and my closest friends, even during the birthday parties because we organize small trips together to discover nature. After melting them we accompany them with chocolate and strawberries, cut them into small pieces and drink them either in hot chocolate or create smores but the real happiness is to enjoy them in company on the evening of a cold winter day, around the campfire and tell us stories.

Cheers!

I love this interview!! I roast my marshmallows only when I can accompany them with chocolate and graham crackers. But the little detail we take for granted is realizing that I’ve never roasted a marshmallow by myself….it’s always around a campfire with friends and loved ones creating lasting memories that are 100% always good (the memories and marshmallows). But to be specific I like my marshmallows slightly browned with just a slight crunch on the outside to them, but there’s no wrong way to roast them!!

When I was really young, probably around the age of 8 I remember I could never get my Marshmellow cooked just the way I wanted it. My Dad then grabbed the stick I was using and showed me how far away to stay and how slow to turn it to achieve the perfect golden brown look. I was so excited to have shared that next marshmellow that I completed by myself with my Dad! Ian you’re such a inspiration to me! God bless! ❤️

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! The memories flooded back in while I was watching this😊. My parents took my younger brother and I on vacations every year and what they could afford was camping! Nothing glamorous but it didn’t matter because we were together in nature with each other! We packed up our tent and all of our camping gear into our VW yellow/orange camper and trekked all over Pennsylvania and the East coast as far south as Florida! When I think about all those times just being together without any distractions, I think about all the laughter and what an amazing job my parents did helping to create those memories and times together!!! How I would love to experience that again with just my parents and brother! Back then I could eat s’mores without thinking about the calories. But I couldn’t drink your bourbon or any bourbon for that matter! I’d love to win this to experience this again now being able to drink Brothers Bind Bourbon! Thank you for making our world a better place so we can continue to enjoy it with family and friends ❤️

It brings me back down to earth with a reminder of how simple life really is.

The only times that I eat s’mores is during June during our annual camping trip. It’s always after a long day of playing in the water with Family, taking hikes and playing games with the kids. Once the sun goes down the campfire is started up and everyone gathers to enjoy the heat. Then the s’mores come out, we always have one person sets up the graham crackers and chocolate and everyone gets some marshmallows and roasts them how they like, I like my burnt. Then we line up and get our marshmallows put on the crackers and chocolate. Then we just sit around telling stories enjoying s’mores, I’m so excited for this years trip.

Hi Ian, I love your passion for the environment, your family, and making the world a better place. My favorite way to make s’mores was with my 2nd graders when I taught elementary school. We would have an indoor camping day once during the school year. We set up a tent and a pretend glowing fire in the middle. The kids got to bring in their sleeping bags and flashlights. We would read stories by the campfire, do fun learning activities and play games. My teacher assistant toasted marshmallows in a little toaster oven and we made s’mores for the kids! The kids always enjoyed our fun indoor camping day. ☺️
