All armour will be shifting to cyberware after the phantom liberty update. Clothes will be purely for looks except for things like bullet proof vests that will provide some armour

The best one is definitely being able to turn anyone into a living grenade with overheat and contagion. If there’s anyone far enough outside of the blast radius, they’ll still get poisoned, so you can preemptively use overheat on anyone in that range and make one big boom.

I never really paid attention to stats Like how in Elden ring I just wore whatever looked good I don't think clothing armour stat removal will have that big of an effect on the gameplay, however that is just my opinion on the matter I have no idea how the wider community will act to this change

keep in mind chooms that clothes become useless and from playtesters the level cap will be raised. if you find anything resembling a ballistic vest helmets or safety gear, this will have armor in phantom liberty, note down it's location to pick it up when phantom liberty launches, you're welcome
