Nice tips, thanks for sharing. One of the best is no7, don't rush the editing, take a bit of time and more than one view/attempt to finish a picture.

Definetly agree with these tips, especially colour, ive been back to an image and thought "what have I done" haha. Ive also stood on that precarious rock in Torridon Ian and shot that waterfall infront of Beinn Align not for the faint hearted so well done for that

Great content as usual. Now that I’m retired I moved from my D7000 and RAW then editing. I don’t like the editing process because I have less confidence doing that than setting up the shot 🤓. Recently I purchased Fujifilm X-T5 and the new kit 16-50mm lens and love the SOOC culture with JPEG and film sims. Having a ball shooting and very little editing (I do shoot JPEG + RAW just in case, admittedly).

Great video and advice as always Ian. One area that always frustrates me is when people fail to adjust horizons correctly. Can really spoil an otherwise fantastic shot!

Yes, horizons are important.

Great tips. Over raising shadows is definitely one I am guilty of. Another annoying habit is to re edit a pic every time I look at it.
@ian_worth2 күн бұрын
Yep, I do that as well haha 👍

Some good stuff in this that I instantly recognised (shadows etc). But sometimes getting it “wrong” leads to pleasing results. Thanks for the tips

Just started to watch this video and am looking forward to it. I thought I'd comment before moving on because editing cam be a really frustrating process. I was a satisfied C1 Express user as an amateur until they pulled it out from under us. My family bought Capture One for my birthday and now I'm trying to learn to use it. Sooooo....here we go!! Thanks for sharing your editing tips!! Have a great day!
