Totem filter using allay is pretty neat, but I don't really think the trouble of getting an allay is worth it since you get a lot of with just a regular chest at the end. I also highly suggest using shulker loaders instead of double chests, that kind of double chest set up won't last very long. You can also use stone cutters at the beginning of the water stream to accumulate items together, I figure it would reduce a little bit of entity lag as well as overcoming the hopper cooldown issue.

I decided to add this to IanXOFours farm a few days ago. HUGE FAN of the system you made absolutely perfect for the average player/small server of friends. I am a bit insane so after creating this I decided that 387,072 emeralds wasn't enough to have stored. Soooooooo, I added shulker box loaders to each one of the different items including totems. Now I can store 10,450,944 emeralds. Had to lower the original storage system by a few blocks to fit the loaders. 10/10 loved the storage system you designed just wanted to make it my own. Built it using Litematica while playing the video.

You don't have to use the specific storage placements for everything, just the totems. For instance, you could get rid of sugar, sticks, spider eyes, and glass bottles and replace them with glow stone, redstone, and gunpowder.

Yes, it is necessary because otherwise the totems cannot be filtered because they are not stackable. Like axe, crossbow and saddle.

Hi! I had 2 questions about this expansion. For some reason, not all the drops go into the stream, and also it appears that the emeralds go into the hoppers but they don't filter. Any idea why? Also, how does the totem system work, because i'm not getting any int the chests 😭

You can filter what ever you want, you could make the entire thing redstone if you really wanted but it'd take ages to fill up.

Your idea of using allay for totem filter is great. But the farm produce more than 1 but less than 2 totems per second (without carpet mod). And an allay can pick up 1 item every 100 ticks or 5 seconds. So I recommend to use atleast 5 to 6 allay for the filtration system and connect that with a redstone torch. I appreciate your Idea but in this way almost 80 percent totems are going in vain just for a organized chest of totem which is not good.

Hey, just builded this beauty and it work "almost" like a charm. Let me explain. Some xp orbs pass in the storage water stream and dont get destroyed because they are stuck on the last packed ice block before the water loged glass panel at the corner before the Allay. On long afk session i bet this might cause some lag, is there a way to fix this for those xp orbs to get destroyed in the fire with the trash loot? Thanks a lot!

its because of the glass pane to align the items for the allay. I'm not sure if the allay may or may not be able to reach the items or if she will just reach less...?

Is the storage system expandable? If it is expandable can I put another allay totem collection column? And does changing the repeater tick affect the totem collection efficiency? (Sorry if these sound stupid)

It doesn't sound stupid! Yes, the storage system is expandable! Just make sure you make the water streams well, so items can reach all the hoppers. Yes, you can add more allays to collect more totems. No, the repeaters delay doesn't affect the totem collection efficiency. If you want to collect every single totem, just add more allays!

The allay barely picks up any totems, any way to fix? When I drop the totems manually into the water stream it picks them up, but it doesn't pick up the totems from the evokers. Playing on a 1.20 paper server if that matters

The Allay is not pick up any totems in the water stream, I followed it step by step but not sure why he wont. If I throw one at him he picks it up and it goes to the chest. I am playing on 1.20.2

After some more research I found out it is a bug where the Allay only wants to throw to the player, if you turn off the not block and go 100 or 200 blocks away and return and turn the note block back on it should now start throwing to the note block and not the player, however I keep getting this bug and having to reset it :/

Make sure there is not a bug in the server, or a problem with a mod if the server uses mods. Try making a little example of the storage system to test it

U don't need 2 witch drops filters cause this farm gets 5k redstone per hour and u have set 2 filters which collects 18k which is overkill

You could use the extra resdstone filter for sticks cause if you don t want to loose any , because i think this farm produce 10k sticks per hour and 1 filter only collect 9k , but i guess you would more likely use raid farm as redstone farm than stick farm ...

Make sure you spawn proof everything, make sure the string in the afk chamber is in it's place. I think pillager spawning in upper platform use a free cam mod to figure out the problem
