In IAR policy MBD SI and plant and machinery SI should be always same because I have seen difference

as per norms machinery some insured declared for MBD section of policy should be equal to value of machinery declared for fire insurance. Reduction allowed only in respect of value of power cables and pipelines which should not exceed 20% of total cost. MBD claim will be subject to application of Under insurance if this rule is not adhered to

Sir in MBD section under IAR policy... Is that true excess is INR 5 lakhs.. i have seen many policies of private insurer where excess is written INR 2500 only in IAR policy

inke is machinery is our covered under iar policy the minimum access shall be 5% of claim subject to minimum of rupees 5 lakhs. Many times insureds are taking stand alone MBD policy from the same Insurance company where the policy excess is as low as one percent of machinery value subject to minimum of rupees 2500.

In M.B Section of I.A.R does Depreciation is Applicable?

depreciation is not applied but under insurance is applicable if the sum insured under the policy is not declared adequately. however waiver of under insurance is available up to a limit of 15% under MD portion of policy.
