The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), the cancer agency of the World Health Organization (WHO), has evaluated the carcinogenicity of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS).
This video has a presentation of the Monographs evaluation, with Dr Mary Schubauer-Berigan, PhD, MS (Head and Senior Epidemiologist, IARC Monographs Programme), Dr Roland Wedekind, PhD (Scientist, IARC Monographs Programme), and Dr Federica Madia, PhD, MS (Senior Toxicologist, IARC Monographs Programme).
