At 3' 18" it's one of those old CIE diesel engines, an infernal din, yet you have to love it. This is how I remember Dun Laoghaire (at school, CBC Monkstown, 1979-80, and living in Killiney) pre- DART. We used to place coins on the track at Blackrock, then retrieve them some yards up the track, flattened. Bit wrong, I know.

@@alltypesofvideos9902 The 8100/8300s were built by Siemens in Germany and the 8500s were built by Tokyu Car Corporation in Yokohama Japan

Irish rail was far better in those days much more comfortable stock, craven's, mk2s, 6101s I wouldn't even get on a 2600 I'd wait for a push pull back then :)
