Dear Sir, These are Common Pschological Practical Test conducted by UPSC Selection Committee, I heard these incidence on those days during 1970's. They will check your IQ Level, Overall Intelligence,, Practicality, POM (Presence of Mind),. As you mentioned here, I heard the incidence, whether it's true or false I don't know, the iincidence went like this, once IAS interview conducted in Chennai at Madras University building 1sr floor big hall. Every person was called andi interviewed by various questions all the four so far they interviewed are successful in their replies ( answers ) but only one among them was selected, did you guess what was the question that was? They asked one simple question "Where is Bay of Bengal",, one candidate said," eastern side of indian subcontinent", correct but not selectef, another two shoot up with the same question in their final question, they properly stand up and walked behind sitting panel members showed the bay of bengal in world map, the last gentleman showed his hand through window showing the MARINA BEACH spontaneous.
