Marss is way better, even if this ZSS is good

@@kessler4987 Marss' punish game isnt polished at all. He doesnt even go for idj Ladder combos which are a consistent way to kill opponents at 20-60 if you have platforms. Yes Marss as a player is a lot better, but his ZSS isnt even near the punish game of other zss players

@@MaveDiller1866 I can agree that he doesn’t do insane ladder combos like others, but in his defense, he doesn’t face the same adversity. Most of his bracket threats are Smash 4 vets who know him and ZSS better than anyone. Just watch how he struggles to land any of these optimized combos against Light or Tweek especially. In Iba’s clips, no one seemed to know how to DI Nair-> FK properly. Even if Marss doesn’t do what you mentioned, his punish game is still insane and overall better than any other ZSS, if you count tech chases, edgeguards and ledge trap. But again, you’re not totally wrong saying he could take notes on others for specific stuff. In fact, I like to compare Marss and Doorstop (2nd best ZSS imo) this way : « Doorstop shows how good he is with ZSS and Marss shows how good he is as a player when using ZSS. »
