Casdon a British toy manufacturing company founded by the Cassidy Brothers in Blackpool Lancashire England UK in 1946. They have always specialised in making fantastic replica toys of actual real brands. Their range of vacuum cleaners including this cordless Dyson are no exception either! Very realistic as always of an extremely high quality! And always reasonable priced! It's a pitty they didn't extend their licence's with real food manufacturers and household brands Hotpoint, Electrolux, Flymo, Breville, Beldray, Morphy Richards etc.

Casdon always takes a while to update and create modern toys. The Casdon washing machine is based on a Hotpoint from over 10 years ago.

Yes the toolings for their current washing machine dates back to 2000. Unfortunately they now don't have the licence with Hotpoint and Persil now hence it is now in a different colour with a fiction manufacturer company and a made up laundry detergent brand. Casdon also no longer have licenses with many other companies including food and other household shopping basket products. In 1979 Casdon launched their first electronic battery or crank handle operated washing machine. The first in metal chrome affect plastic usage of toys! You could even put water in it! They did the same 1985 when Casdon launched a Hoover Washing machine toy replica. It could even take actal water! There was also a Creda cooker, a Hotpoint dishwasher battery operated with water, Rowena kettle, Morphy Richards iron, Hygena kitchen unit where the three mention apllices fitted beside cupboards a fridge and under a sink. Let's hope they get a new licence with an actual washing machine brand and produce a newly high quality detailed tool washing machine. And that they extend their portfolio further with more real actual brands.

My son adores his, loves to help mom vacuum with her Dyson. Problem: static electricity. After many months the plastic spinning balls are now stuck to the top plastic ! So how do I get rid of the static. Tried a dryer sheet and aluminum foil. Almost every ball was stuck. I got some 8 free. How do I un-static them ?

Its a good concept bu the wand is very fragile. We purchased it for our son and he bearly played with it and the plastic tube broke from one end. Going to return it and possibly give this toy another try

Sounds like it doesnt have a digital motor though, lol,and no dusting brush either - but it really does look pretty much like a real V8, so they did a pretty good job there. Odd the way the centre hole is positioned on the large floorhead, and not via the brushroll aperture, which is sealed over. Does the top filter come out? I assume it must do as it must have to filter the air somehow, even with a tiny 4.5V motor, it would still need to filter the dirt somehow. replaceable batteries too - how novel.

There is no removable filter but there are instructions to clean a filter with a brush in the instructions, but I haven’t been able to locate it. It will only pick up bits of paper and the polysterene balls that I used in the video, so I don’t think filtration is a major concern for the target audience of this cleaner.

Toy vacuum cleaners in general don’t have very much suction, however they should be able to pick up small amounts of fluff. Check to see if there are any blockages, or put the handle of a AC vacuum onto this too see if anything got blocked.

It is out of stock at the main retailers but you shouldn’t pay more than £22. Some sellers with stock have increased their prices to con the public into paying more than they should.
