Somehow i missed this review. I just got this RG. Being a RG guy like yourself...and I had a Pia earlier this year....these in every configuration are stellar. The neck through really shows . Awesome 👍🏻 playing as always 😎👊🏻💯 brother! 🔥🔥🔥

Jazzy! I just picked up a Japanese sold Ibanez rgt47dx . About as close to this as I can get. I want to have pro buckers though. 2 and 5 for me. No middle but it has one. Reverse headstock and I'm already done laying in the gold leaf.

Nice playing and solo chunks! :P, which I am trying to get faster these days... :D. I have a small question. When you play chunks, 8-5-7 on e String and you move up to B string with another 8-5-7 do you press down your index and pinky (5-8) together when you moved to the B string or you start with pinky (8) and you press and hold your index on 5 only right after you play 8 with pinky?

Looking at getting an Ibanez to get some good neck pickup warm sounds. Im an old metal head and grew up on Gibson but love that fender sound too, and with what im doing lately im hoping the Ibanez can do it all. My impressions on this was that it sounded very hot and i didn't get buch bottom end across when using the neck pickup. Dont know if its the amp or recording or ehat im listening through, but would you agree, or did it just not come through on the vid? Hope that made sense 😂. 🤘🇦🇺 appreciate if u have any advice. Theres a guy selling a blue burst, pb top premium, with the bolt on neck, i think from 2018. Wondering if i should get that and put some nicer pickups in it. Whats your opinion about the newer Ibanez fluence active/alnico? They're not super hot like emg are they?

So think these are tone zone / air Norton. The bridge in parallel is very strat like clean,clear but warm. They are hot though, bit with a little amp tweak you'll be golden As for the 2018 premiums they are awesome bit still maybe a little hot? A little nudge on the volume would go a long way though as well. As foe the fluence? I like 5hem Deffo not EMG hot and if anything maybe a little less output than the dimarzios. I'll have a video up some with the RGD that has fluence in man....see what ya think. 🤘🧟🤘

Thank you very much dude, it depends where you've bought it from man but yeah you would expect them to arrive with a set up, it may not be to your liking bit should be all sorted. Ibanez guitars tend to be very user friendly so you should be able to get the action etc where you want it. Happy new guitar day buddy 🤘🧟‍♂️🤘

Hi paul i recieved my guitar its awesome except im almost certain the the 2 position bridge middle pickup setting is out of phase. Is it meant to be? its thin and extremely weak.

How i know this is i own a brian may Red special when i put the brian may guitar out of phase in same position its identical tone.
