Ibanez AS53 Semi Hollow Body 1 Year Review and Mods

It has been a long and winding road to get to the place where I love this guitar, but I can say now I do love it. It has some issues (I expected issues, so no problem), all of which were completely solved. In this video I will show you around the guitar and show you the modifications I did to it to make it a solid musical instrument I would gig with. It holds tune, sounds great, plays great, and is intonated nicely.

For the money, it is a banger for sure. I love the classic tone I can get from the stock pickups, which really surprised me. Curious...when you say lightweight which is rather subjective, and so what is the weight ? I have and still experience sharp frets on occasion and discovered humidity is key. 45-55 is ideal for guitars.

I would say it weighs about 6 pounds and totally agree with the comment on humidity. Here in FL it is basically always 100%, but it is in the AC most of the time.
