Ibanez GIO GRG121 DX review.

Hi John, yes, it is GIO with a letter "i". I just took a look at them online and found that the GIO line of guitars and basses are extremely affordable with prices ranging from $170 to $330 USD. Cheers.

When I first worked in a guitar store in Glasgow they stocked Eko,Yamaha,Fender, Columbus, Gibsons etc. I started buying in Ibanez and doubled the turnover. They make good budget to mid range instruments but I always felt they were running out of steam when they tried high end stuff like the George Benson.

in 92 i got a jackson soloist after trying a rgx or something, an ibenez, it felt horrible it was thin body thin neck and thin sound, incidently, i hate jacksons too now but they had warmer sound at least, the here don't sound too bad though, nice review.

I had that exact model guitar. At high volume the pickups are a horrible buzzing mess
