What's wrong with you guys? This guitar is overpriced. $6-7K just because it's a Satriani model with an atypical finish. Better to get an Ibanez JS2400 for three times less money and and you'll enjoy it, trust me :)

When I went to see Joe at a concert one of the lights on the stage hit that guitar and sent a beam of light straight at my face and blinded me for a few seconds it was a magical experience hahaha it was awesome.

I realize the first run is only 60 instruments and I will never see one, but I believe Ibanez will continue production of this fabulous guitar to great success and longtime fans like myself will have our day!! Yes, I would shell out the cash for one while other signature model guitars have meant little to me. Satriani is #1, period. When the aliens land and demand to be taken to our leader, I will take them to Joe Satriani.

If he wasn't good at playing in a band I guess Frank wouldn't have let him play in his band. Hard to buy a pig in a bag for the most ,we will hardly ever see the day when I can physically walk in our music store, and there it is the Chrome Boy guitar Joe was talking about, the pickup's fretboard and body shape is what cuts it for me,,no problem when money is no object ,as for me this is my one in a lifetime dream machine Rock on Mrs Joe Satriani thanks for the info need a website that the talking and the playing on both pickups are done in sequences.

You know how I learnt to face my ocd also dude? Face them head on haha I took a dare and didn’t wipe my Les Paul for almost a year, I did say almost, so my punishment was not being allowed to wipe any of them down properly before during or after playing except the neck, around the pick ups and hardware etc.

Superb comfortability to play with , but changing a string is a nightmare especially during a gig,why not make a locking thing that will lock the bridge while changing a string?

I just use a old rubber eraser to hold mine when doing a string change one that's cut so the trem arm stays in it's correct position plus it won't scratch or mare the finish .

Most definitely. The first stock of JS10 chrome boys had some issues with the chrome flaking but it was fixed quickly. However bare in mind that it is a sensitive finish and it'll scratch easily unless you apply a PPF which i highly recommended anyway.

After paying full upfront, last January, and waiting a full year for this guitar, I was very unhappy that when I went to pick it up today. It does not work. The sustainiac does not engage and the pick up switch has a bad connection. Unfortunately, I had refused delivery at this point from Sam Ash. Ibanez, Why did it take a year to deliver a guitar that is defective?

Waiting a full year for the guitar is more on Sam Ash than on Ibanez I would think but even if it's not I would imagine a guitar like this would be in high demand which is why it took so long. Still it's kinda strange that you would not even try to get the guitar fixed and then come here and complain.
