Great playing, and a very nice guitar too. I have a bunch of Strats, but I was missing that "Jackson sound" of my youth, so I picked up an Ibanez RG arched top/maple board/locking trem guitar and i love it. Ibanez guitars are much more versatile than most people think.

the problem is to change the little white circles (a Floyd rose is better) the bar can't be hold very well in the trem (a Floyd rose is better for that ) second problem=no good neck joint (Gibson, ESP, Music man make it better) so except that, not sure the neck pickup sounds as good as a great paf Joe but the alder body is the best to sound strat and not the boring cheap basswood in the js 1000 1200 etc.

I used to have an Ibanez Musician, and for the life of me I can't find anymore. It was a solid Mahogany body, it was beautiful. I hooked it up to my Traynor TS50B B power head with a Peavy amplifier that had 4 12" Black Widow Gas Speakers. I could literally wake an entire neighborhood, don't ask how I know this 😜😉. You know, I subscribed to this channel a long time ago and forgot about it because someone kept turning off my notifications...KZbin!!! Anyway, thank you Eric for the Jam, see you soon.

I had a JS2400. Called it the tooth. It was awesome. Needed cash and had to get rid of it. Now though I have a Surh Carved Top Modern Custom .

Yeah Ibanez professional series of guitars are extremely underrated IMHO. I purchased a 540S-LTD back in 1989, and she's been my go-to guitar for 32 years. There is no style of music it can't handle, from Jazz, to Country, to Rock, to Heavy Metal ... you name it, it can handle it. The only limitation I've found with my 540S-LTD are my playing skills.

Protip. Put a block eraser underneath the bridge to stabilize it for tuning, or replace strings one at a time.

Dude you can do all this with a Strat . With a floating trem Strat like god intended to be used. Watch every Wildwood guitars Strat video. Every one of them it is set up as it should. Floating trem. Watch Greg Koch playing them. All my Strats do what you did and more.

If 21 frets were enough for Hendrix, SRV, Van Halen, Eric Johnston etc they are enough for anybody. And modern Strats comes with 22 frets.

joe satriani no man. Fender LTD Mahogany has 3 humbuckers. Fender modern Strat has 2 humbuckers. Fender blacktop has two. There are 11 models with 2 humbuckers. Or custom shop . You can put as many as you want. Are you a real person ? Your channel has nothing on it.
