Hello Leon, can you help me to decide what guitar should I buy next? I am confused between PIA3761 and RG8870. They're about same price. Here's what I like in PIA: - Awesome pickups - Stainless steel frets - General Appearance is better than JCus - Scalloped 21-24 - High Pass Filter Here's what I like in RG8870 - Awesome neck (And additionally asymmetrical for more comfortness, just wow) - Lo Pro Edge - Coil Tap Switch - Macassar Ebony fingerboard - Chambered body - Since it's a custom, they really care much for these guitars rather than signatures. If I buy PIA, I'll just forgive some comfortness, like LoPro and neck, but if I buy RG, I have to change pickups (I really don't like them), and the frets are not stainless steel which is a big negative for it. What's your opinion? (Why RG8870? Because it is Alder. I want Alder body).

I can't pick for you man but I I were choosing. Pia may hold value better if you want to sell it however the RG has a lower profile bridge that won't stop a good muting technique and proper jumbo frets. Plus you aren't just giving Mr Vai a couple hundred dollars on top of the real price of the guitar
