Reb Beach is such a badass still! When George Lynch left Dokken for a while, R.B. was one of the few people that was able to step in and nail those Lynch solos. The '80s and 90s had some phenomenal players and it really took some skills to play those songs 👍👍👍👍

Indeed. I put Reb and George on equal footing. Reb is more technically proficient, George is more unique and stylish. I love them both. Vito Bratta is on same level too. But if all them would play something new, I would recognize George much sooner than the other two. He has has a more unique style.

"Black Magic", Track 1 from Guitars That Rule the World, Vol. 1. Great playing and outstanding tunes from a buncha other guitar legends on that album.

One of the very few guitar design which, to my taste, brought authentic, creative fresh air and looks beautiful. Too bad it is discontinued and very rare today. No need to comment RB playing.

My sincerest opinion is being fast is okay but being technical is on another level and you can't compare these two. Please, no counter replys cos i honestly commented on how i feel and believe it to be so.

This is so fucking great, i just love it. I think whitesnake should make the most of this guy talent by introducing this sort of music ang solos

Man I went to buy one of these in 92, they looked so good. The first fret was busted so bought a Desert Yellow 777 instead. Those were the days.

??? They still do?
@JosephFurlong2 жыл бұрын
@@iloveitall in my opinion no. Especially the price ratio to quality. The Ibanez I own is from the 90s and it has such I awesome feel to it. I own several new ones and the first thing I had to do is a full set up and file fretts
@iloveitall2 жыл бұрын
@@JosephFurlong Ibanez has better quality for a certain price than all other brands. If you want perfection, you get a Japan made Prestige. No other brand comes close at this price level. Suhr and Haar and may be on the same level, but no Fender, no Gibson, no PRS ever is. At the low end you can have a real solid guitar for 250,-. For this money you get cheap crap from Squier, from Epiphone, from Harley Benton, from any brand. i have Ibanez guitars from the 90s and nothing comes close, but that is because of wood age. Todays Prestiges are as good as what you got in the 90s if not better. You might have some trouble with Indonesian made Ibanez guitars. Around 2015 there were some serious quality issues. But it has gotten much better since.
@claudevieaul14652 жыл бұрын
Because they made them in Japan.
@iloveitall2 жыл бұрын
@@JosephFurlong I hope you compare the 90s one against a new one made in Japan? I own RGs from every era. The 90s sound better but for the most part because they have been played and the wood has aged. Price ratio may be not so ok when it comes to the Premiums, agreed. Btw. in the 90s Ibanez guitars were quite expensive also.

Well, for about the first 2/3rds of '91 this type of music was still hanging on by a thread while it had been slowly getting eclipsed since '89. Of course, by autumn, Teen Spirit officially did it in for good.
