I love that you make the video's whilst standing up since I can see if it dives or not. light bodies tend to dive a lot like SG's and Vipers.

@@RaccAttacc01 my SG is off-brand so the strap button is at the same place as with the ESP Viper which doesn't make sense to me, but I am saving up. Or I am going to break the bank for a Gibson SG, or I stay financially balanced and buy a G&L Fallout

Look up Steve Paul’s review on this. Most people were in love with the cleans. His reviews on it are more in depth and just playing no talking. I’m tempted to get one after seeing it. If you love polyphia you will want this guitar

As far as I can tell, the neck is just a little bit thicker than the 652 + the pickups are not the Dimarzio's. I went with the 470ahm because I was going to swap pickups anyways. I didn't notice the difference in the neck until I compared to my other Wizard 3 necks. Little bit bummed about the added thickness but it shouldn't be an issue. Still plays great.

Can someone let me know if the rg421ahm is a good option for metal? I’m thinking of getting an Ibanez rg that’s good for metal and is on the cheaper side?
@mauriciodiaz65084 жыл бұрын
Is not the best option for metal but it can work if you use the amp and the the correct pedals. Sorry for my english
@shinzousasageyo70664 жыл бұрын
Mauricio Díaz is the Marshall mg50gfx a good solid state amp for metal because I really don’t have a clue on cheap amps (under £400) that are good for lots of distortion
@jake100xx3 жыл бұрын
@@shinzousasageyo7066 Peavey 6505+ combo (with FX loop modification) is unmatched for high gain sounds on a budget. Also this guitar is perfect for metal, if we are talking shredding 80s Hair Metal, maybe it's not the best for modern generic droptune stuff.

Dk if you got your answer but yes it stays in tune and am abusing it however mine needed some setup out the box on intonation and floyd rose. I don't think there is better "floyd rose" guitar for the price, edge tremolo ii is really good, pickups also not bad at all.

How can you tell, have you tried it personally to judge how they sound? Pickups/guitars never sound like in demos, 'in the flesh'. This so-called demo is total crap, does disservice to the guitar and to the shop.
@andreil12346 жыл бұрын
I have a 94 RG which came with quite muddy but not disagreeable INF1, INF2 and INFS. I've dropped in a pair of Dimarzio/IBZ pups which are quite close (not there, not worse, just a bit different) to Air Norton/Tone Zone (the Dimarzio description says Super2 and cross between SuperDistortion and Steve Morse for the bridge but my ear says pretty close to the classic couple) and wired standard Ibanez H-H positions and they shine. For a lot less money. Truth be told, I would have bought the Air Norton and ToneZone or D-Activator, but could not find a Norton available in Romania or nearby (insane, right?) nor any neck pickup to match TZ/D-Activator so I settled for this. So far, so good. The parallel neck position and neck/bridge split sound good, not really missing the middle pickup at all. Will probably get an H-H pickguard, since I'm really not missing a middle pickup.
