i wouldn't say its better personally i prefer the tighter curves of a tele body but god damn do i love the lock and finish. neck wise its really nice and since i play mainly standing and have a thing for sparkle guitars i was tempted for sure. compared to the cv i would say its in the same ball park quality wise i comes down to which you prefer. the squier would have a gloss neck and this would have a satin neck stuff like that are things to consider.

Yes it is. Current CVs are sucks. Ibanez is a main brand, Squier is a 2nd-grade of a brand. So I prefer the main brand over the 2nd-grade of a brand.
