mika rage Greetings to France! You live in a beautiful country. I think you’ll really like the neck on this bass. It’s not skinny, in my opinion. God bless you and Merry Christmas!🎄

Indonesia putting out good basses. Some Squiers made there & the Tribute models by G&L are made there as well.

Chris Davis yeah bro! Some times these basses will surprise you.

These are great. I had a TMB100. The only thing is that on board eq. Why not just do passive and let it ride. Hate that hifi sound. But, hard to beat for the price.
@RumblinMan6 жыл бұрын
SixSentSoldiers yeah, I feel ya. When playing the bass, I mostly kept the EQ flat. I get such better performance out of passive basses.

I prefer passive basses myself too. That headstock & tuner peg arrangement is so ugly to me. The block inlays are quite nice though & I like the Jaguar like body.

Is the neck feels like a jazz bass or more into precision? Thx
@RumblinMan5 жыл бұрын
Galih Wiria I would compare it more closely to a precision neck.

HEY GIVE MY BASS BACK! TO KEEP IT SIMPLE,THE Hardware is junk on these but after replacing,screws and tuners like i did,its a great bass,might i add the actual binding and inlays for this price point,a lot of times getting this on a cheap bass is painted and the "binding" is a painted stripe down the edge of the neck

You can't get everything for $199.00 but what you do get is more than enough to get some music out of.

Sounds cool but that hum would annoy me.
@RumblinMan6 жыл бұрын
Jon Gibbins yeah. I know there’s gonna be some hum with single coils. But I was saddened by how much hum there is.
@jonniegibbins6 жыл бұрын
@@RumblinMan Did you try playing with a gate or changing the EQ? The gate doesn't stop the hum but at least you can't hear it when you're not playing and the EQ can sometimes minimise it.
@RumblinMan6 жыл бұрын
@@jonniegibbins I didn't, actually. I figured for the review, it be best to keep the sound as honest as I could. A gate would probably help the issue significantly, though.

@@RumblinMan True, but if you get the chance to try and let us know that would be great. I love the looks and sound of that bass but that hum would kill me. Mind you if I get any more basses it won't be the bass killing me but my wife!

Jon Gibbins hahaha! Yeah dude, if I get a chance I hope to. I’d love to review the other Talman basses and guitars.
