I keep seeing this same bass, green sparkle finish and all, getting overlooked in a local shop. Next to the flashy expensive Music Mans, Warwick's, Fenders etc, it seems no one pays it much attention. Yeah, I think I need this bass. Thanks for convincing me!

How can a P/J pick up configurations sound so much like a Jazz and still able to have a great P-bass tone? I love the tone of this bass. My wife LOVES the Sting Ray tone that's on it. I hope this comes in a 5 string.

My wife bought me this bass as a wedding gift when we got married a bit over four years ago. I have small hands and the extra girth of the neck is not a problem at all. This bass is one of the more tonally versatile bass guitars I’ve ever played. I understand that Ibanez stopped making the Talman 310…that was a mistake on Ibanez’s part.

Soooo. After seeing your success with the Talman series, I picked up the TMB100. I wanted a decent backup bass, and couldn't decide. Then I remembered the Ibanez. I was lucky to find them on sale, and the one I bought played great. All the hardware was tight, and everything sounded great. I will feel better knowing I have two good basses to choose from when I play.

Noses are for pickin’. 👃🏻 Now that we got that out of the way... I really love the green sparkle & block inlays! I just wish Ibanez would’ve done something better with the tuner peg arrangement on the headstock. Ugh. I almost bought one of these. I ended up getting a Squier VM P/J Bass.
@aarondavis43415 жыл бұрын
I have one if these, I love the tones i get,you can literally mimic everything fro a pbass to a music man stingray vibe and everything in between. What im not happy with is the cheap hardware on these,my jack plate and battery cover literally just fell out while playing before,the clovers on my tuners came loose the way their pressed together,both sets of stack knobs broke while adjusting them, so after puting a little longer screws in the whole bass and replacing broken parts,íts NOW an awesome bass,the electronics are immpecable,very crisp. Mine is turquoise sparkle,with elixer strings. Now before anyone says anything,i baby my gear,ask my family they say i have more love for my music gear than i do them (NOT TRUE!),thats how babied this guitar is,so for the issues ive had are cheap workmanship from the factory,also if you take a green scratch pad to the neck and take the gloss off,it makes the neck super soft and smooth

the unsung hero in this video are those Sony headphones. I have the same ones and they're amazing for the money (20-30 USD on Amazon). The noise-canceling is pretty useless, but the sound reproduction and responsiveness and range is only a step down from my Senninshizer studio headphones

I LIVE MY 310 THE FUNK MACHINE,as I call it,there isn't a tone out there that this model can't emulate,yes it's heavy,it's a solid piece of mahogany,but most good basses are heavy...be careful buying these though,the hardware sucks,I had both my stacks completly fall apart,there's a brass shaft holding them together,I also had to replace my tuners because ibanez out pressed junk for tuners on the bass,after,oh and each pot has a built in preamp,,if you gotta get another one,Ibanez has to special build them,it takes a while,mine spent 3 months in the shop just to get the pots replaced

Great player, but the action is so low everything buzzes when you play fingerstyle and can't tell whether the bass has nice sound or not.
@davidrichardson76875 жыл бұрын
I don't think Jamerson, Babbitt and Dunn would approve, long live Family Man, Phil Chen, Lucky Scott, Chuck Rainey,Bernard Reed and Robbie Shakespeare. What happened to the low end - everyone wants to be a soloist these days. Finger style is grown man business. Big up to all the Bass players who keep the low end Fat and Round. Good architecture has artistic longevity.
