Ibanez TS9 vs TS9 40th Anniversary tone comparison. Which do you prefer?

I forgot to add. The tone is basically the same except that the TS9 (green) is a bit brighter. Why would you pay extra for the TS940th Anniversary? Honestly, it’s not for everyone. It’s a good collector’s item and since the TS9 is always associated with the green color, the TS940th gives a refreshing red color giving it a distinct look on your pedal board. 😊 cheers!

Whenever the sales of a product drop, you do a trick, paint it in a different color, dedicate it to the anniversary and voila-old-new pedal. As long as the concept-scheme is the same, it doesn't matter how it looks, it can be colorless. "same shit-different packaging" that's just a saying, the TS-9, is definitely a good pedal.

They're technically the exact same pedal, with identical electronics and circuitry, except for the case color to mark its 40th anniversary.

Yeah but the quality of the materials is going to be different. Providing slightly different resistences and whatnot. I notice a very very slight difference, but it is definitely very close. As it should be though

The green seem so be a bit louder and definitely has more mid range bump going.
