I agree. I saw Avatar 2 in cinema....I don't feel the sound was a good as simply watching films on my tv with the Fives..

Just got mine. I heard the fives will sound much better when paired to a sub woofer. They'll automatically send the low frequencies to the sub, allowing the drivers to offer much much better midrange. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I have heard these speakers are beefed up with bass, Klipsch themselves told so. Some people have complained about too much bass. I dont know a subwoofer would alleviate that since this already comes with subwoofer feel bass..

@user-co5vf5ph8p No. It's specifically designed to send the low frequencies to the sub woofer, allowing the drivers to offer much much better midrange and overall better quality sound, once you've connected the sub.

Just got these for $500 from Costco. Great for that price. Destroys any soundbar. Bluetooth sounds very good. Maybe I'll try my $200 Polk sub that I was using for surround and see what that does. These things can kill you with volume. I will also be building a HiFi setup for my man cave. Can't wait to try Heresy's and Forte's.

@@diosbatman Better than you would expect for the small footprint. There is a sub output so you could pair these with an entry level SVS sub and a good streaming device and have a very cheap hifi system that will fill a large room with high quality sound.

More impressive than you are hearing. I have had them for 2 months to use as laptop speakers. They are far more than what i was expecting. I still look at them trying to figure out how that sound comes from those little guys.

I cannot get the Klipsch APP to work in my phone so I can adjust the over blown BASS....using on my TV...also for bluetooth music from my phone....but the BASS cannot be adjusted for these speakers for TV, cannot finalize app connect for EQUALIZER for speakers

That's what worries me..I want to be able to get some good treble in there...as I listen to alot of prog rock, metal etc I don't want the bass to totally dominate.

@@MournfulMystic it has plenty of treble...but with no way to decrease bass tv new shows all have mega bass garbage I hate which hard to hear speech sometimes....update I finally able to update speaker software and new android app has simple equilizer for these speakers works okay

if you like more bass you can go for the sub. you can place it on bookshelf or wherever you like.

Thanks for posting this. It's great to get a demo on this speaker. I love Klipsch speakers and have been think ing long and hard about getting these for a simple setup for the family room. Are you happy with them? Anything you don't like?

Hello. Yes the speaker is very nice and sound great for your entertainment use. the thing i dont like is the speaker sound a bit lag . sometimes is making buzz sound when i use optical port :(. if you have a bit more for your budget i would recommend the B&W 607 or 606. is better performance and fast bass. but you need an intergrade amplifier to use that speakers. i also have a video for the b&w 607 sound demo if you like to check it out.

I am a fan of powered speakers since the 1980s. I still have my AR (Acoustic Reasearch) Rock Partners. I’ve also been a Klipschh fan for a long time. They are made in Arkansas near to my old hometown-Memphis Tennessee. So I will probably go with something like the 5s. This is for every day use in the family room. I have a big setup in the man-cave that I can go down and relax with when I need to chill. I really like that the Fives have an HDMI arc connection like the Sonos Beam that I am upgrading from. My other consideration is the Acoustic energy AE1 Active which has got a great review from the British Audiophile KZbin channel . I’ll be glad to checkout you new posts!

Thank you so much fopr your video. May I ask a simple question? If the main box with all the inputs receives Sound via Bluetooth, how does the second speaker get the sound? Do I just plug both into mains and they receive the sound or do I put the main speaker into mains and connect the second speaker via audio cable?

its only 1 wire that connect to the Left speaker. and the Right will do all the works

@@flechernew5200I am not a sound expert but I guess these speakers offer plenty for such a small room. I have them in a 40sm room attached to the wall rather high up and they really sound fine. Probably not for the high end conaisseur but for the average listerner, they are fine.

Any idea how to test or determine max vol? I have the sixes and they max out at 40 clicks on the remote. But i have to go to at least 15 to get any sound from the speakers..

Unfortunately, these are all advertisements that deceive you at the speakers with a terrible ugly sound. There are no high frequencies at all. They are just a tambourine somehow, it's like a subwoofer. It's ugly and more than 10 euros. They don't stand. These are computer speakers and that's it
