Very good. You must be a joker. This same lady that portrays him a hero in some respect and fails to ask tough questions around corruption and the June 12 question has zero conviction behind them. The man has politely demonstrated impunity, politely lied, politely showed no remorse and interviewer is not pressing on any of those questions. She's respectful and we should respect our elders but not those who plunder the nation into crisis and did so much for themselves and their families at the expense of destroying the future of so many generations so he definitely did not deserve the respect he was afforded.

The problem with Africa is that we celebrate thieves. Allow them to keep their loot and be treated as statesmen, heroes instead of villain deserving the harshest punishment and to be treated with contempt. IBB and many corrupt and ruthless African leaders shouldn’t be allowed to keep their loot. Letting them keep is setting bad precedents, it confirms that crime pays. This is our biggest problem in Africa. A thief is a thief and it doesn’t matter whether they have stolen a goat, chicken, robbed citizens of public resources, are a villager, an ex president, young or old. They must be punished in equal proportion to the crime committed and deprived of the stollen goods or wealth so that leaders coming after them are warned. I don’t consider IBB a hero and sad that many here are praising him. May God the almighty, Allah open our eyes as citizens to the filths committed by men like him impoverishing this continent

IBB is very intelligent. He said that Nigeria economy under Buhari has not crashed. This is very diplomatic. IBB didn't say that Buhari is doing well or not. Secondly, he said that the military had to do more without commenting specifically on the present state of the military. Thirdly, he described the qualities of the person who should be the next president without mentioning a political party , an individual or a specific region. That's wisdom.

I believe that the reason we have agitations for secession in Nigeria is that the right things are not being done. If governance had given every section of the Nigerian society the necessary dividends in terms of economic welfare and acceptance, and no section is marginalized in any way, there won't be such agitations. If there were no looting of the treasury at federal, state and local government levels, and if the resources were appropriately managed for the benefit of all, there would not be agitations for secession. In the present dispensation, Peter Obi stands out as the magic wand that is capable of restoring the Nigerian State economically. He is highly detribalized and he would use the best Nigerians to achieve his purposes, irrespective of tribe or ethnicity. He is sound beyond measure in all respects. Nigeria and Nigerians need him now! Atiku and Bola Tinubu do not fit. They have looted our treasury enough! They contributed immensely to the bastardizing of the Nigerian State, her economy, and her morality. They are epitomes of corruption. PETER OBI IS OUR NECESSARY STRUCTURE UNOPPOSED!

God bless IBB ala 'Maradona' He hit the nail on the head on several level. I recollect that Nigeria we had when he was in power compared to now. To even take IMF loan he made it a public debate for all on TV and Radio. His presidency tho military was ran somewhat like a civilian government. I was in university then NYSC then. Rule from the lower level, not from the higher down. State show focus on infrastructures, state policies and budget oversight to name a few...instead of micro-managing to the lowest level. Same should be on the Federal level, focus on Polices, Security, Federal level infrastructures, lead the people to run a free enterprise economy. That's what's practiced in the US. Shagari's regime tried it to some extent but corruption, partisanship and lack of common unitary value destroy it. May God help us as we're now poised to help ourselves thru supporting the youths.
