Those do work well for hauling. My brother did that to move the hydrostatic lawn mower when it would quit running. Just put the back wheels on and drag it to the garage. It even did well on gravel. Nice video!

Really cool idea with the IBC sled!! I use something called a Yard Glide which has no sides and you can pull just about anything across any surface. Hard plastic yet deflects like the IBC tote does. I will check out Evans video!! Thanks Todd!

Even with it being muddy out you done did got didn’t ya! 😆 Good thick grass cover where your working is a definite necessity to get any thing done right now. That sled was definitely a great idea. The bladders I have are too brittle to make a sled. To much sun I suppose. I remember Evans sled video. That was back before you were a KZbin sensation and still camera shy!😁 Thankfully you got over that! Take care TOA! GO ON GET!👍🏻

I done did for sure! That thick grass sure was is making it possible too. Yeah I have ran into bladders that were sun baked and brittle! Definitely need a newer tote for a sled! I don’t know about “KZbin sensation” 😂 but I sure do try and have fun doing it! I’m gettin👊🏻🍻

I told him the same thing this morning🤣He had a lot of issues getting monetized and he just doesn’t want to commit to a loyal audience and feel like he will let them down when he goes off to college. Turns out KZbin rules are you have to be 18 and that wasn’t real clear it would have been a simple fix if they would have just let me know to sign off on as a guardian?? Oh well I told him I outta monetize his channel and release a video on it to keep it active. He is still getting like 6k watch hours a month🤷♂️ It would be a great back up for him when he is ready again. Thanks Chris👊🏻

Great idea. How well does the hackberry burn in an inside fireplace? (Popping and BTU’s) Most everyone here only knows oak.
@toddsoutsideagain6 ай бұрын
Hackberry come in around 21BTU where oak is around 24. It burns well without popping when seasoned properly. It does make a bit more ashes. Still great firewood in my opinion. Mulberry on the other hand has a 26 BTU rating and IMO is as good as oak! Thanks for watching Saltrock👊🏻
@saltrock96426 ай бұрын
@@toddsoutsideagain thanks I’ll give hackberry a try and we do have mulberry but rarely do I see cut down. Oak will be everywhere due to the drought taking out so many water oaks. Dead ones everywhere you look.

You've done a great job knocking out those trees. It's sloppy here as well. I love the ibc totes for sled. You mentioned hauling deer. That's perfect. I hate trying to pull a deer up on my quad rack. I have one i use for a kiddie pool for the grand kids lol. I'll have to try and pull them around on it lol. I really enjoyed this video.
@toddsoutsideagain6 ай бұрын
They are great for hauling deer!!! This one has carried a few😂 I found myself struggling to pull deer up on my four wheeler as well. Just pull up beside the deer, tilt the sled and roll it right in. It also gets your bike and clothes all bloody too. The bladder just rinses right out and keeps me clean. I’m glad you enjoyed Jerry. Appreciate ya👊🏻

Went down to my ash woods couple days ago and worked one up. It's on creek flats and low spots had couple ft of water in them. Yesterday it was completely flooded. Probably receding now, doesn't take long. Luckily I don't need to worry about mess. Come up out of the woods area, cross the RR, go thru the cow pasture and to my back yard(where it's all gravel)
@bfoutdooradventures6 ай бұрын
That was a good use for the IBC bladder. I was wondering if you still used it since i hadn't seen it in a video for a long time. I have a lot of the IBC bladders, i was thinking of making a log nose cone out of a couple of them for pulling logs out of the woods and down the trails. Do you think they are strong enough to hold up to something like that? I know the log cones cost around $150, so i was looking for a cheaper alternative. 🕺💃
@toddsoutsideagain6 ай бұрын
Hello💃🕺. That would be a great idea! Use the corner of a bladder🤔 I think it would work! I have seen some bladders that have seen prolonged time in the sun get a little brittle! If you have relatively new bladders they are very durable! It’s worth a try. Even if they didn’t hold up the price and availability is great😂 Take care and thanks for watching 👊🏻
