Family la ya parungaya..he is exaggrating about the army life., its not what you see in tv or movies.,if you join OTA you will be treated as second class., nobody will respect you, the sainik school guys the Aps and the RMS guys from the NDA will lead the show.,a 25 yr old guy became a lt..not sure how many yrs he served.,its a one way ticket..you can leave in the middle if you are injured or dead., so many jawans leave the army and airforce and join cisf as officers..even though they are selected..very few will be able to join..look this new recruit..99.9 percent he wont get permanent commission., he wil leave the army without pension or any kind of benefits..then he will realize ..that he made a big mistake..only experience speaks.

Ex servicemen are not a good job offer in Tamil nadu compared to north India because I'm also affected by this one I'm ex- servicemen last year I cleared TNPSC Gp 2 exam but i did not get job because communal vacancy example Army recruitment not see to the community vacancy but after retirement every ex-servicemen treated community vacancy. Tamil nadu state given only 5% quato last year does not qualify SC, ST communal Ex-servicemen very low this other change to normal quto kindly requested to Tamil Govt & TNPSC ex- servicemen quta (5%) only Ex-servicemen not change to normal quta if not fill Ex-servicemen this year backlog to next for Ex-servicemen vacancy. Sir your son should have interest to join the army If your son is interested then he can write CDS exam after bachelors this the best way to get into army this exam is conducted by UPSC after clearing the written past of the exam he should clear the interview called SSB (service selection board) which will be conducted for 5 days then they will do medical tests If your son Clears everything he can join as a lieutenant officer in the army A lieutenant in the Indian Army who joins through the Combined Defence Services (CDS) can expect a monthly salary of between ₹56,100 and ₹1,77,500.
