I just want to thank you I'm 15yrs old and I'm also a Liberian Girl and u already know if u don't know how to cook in a Liberian person house they will say stuff like "You don't know how to boil water" they will continue to cuss until u know how to cook so I just want to thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to make these videos so others can cook for family, friends and loved ones. I'm so happy to say that I can actually cook. Thank you so much for inspiring young girls like me. Continue to do your thing and I pray that u get all the support u deserve stay blessed and thank you.

This is so true girl,, nd African parents don't even realize how much damage that "cuss cuss" does to you mentally. Alhamdulillahi that all of these KZbinrs are taking their time to teach other people their skills/talent. May Allah reward you all for your efforts

I am black American, and I love African food. My favorite is cassava leaf, acheke with fish, and potato greens. This looks very good, my sister and I have tried to make it, but I don't think we dried the greens good enough. Nonetheless, I love your cooking god bless you.

Girl, you don't know how much you have helped me!! My mother is American and my father Liberian, nobody taught me how to cook the Liberian way. I am getting married soon and he is also Liberian. Lol I can't keep a Liberian man if I can't cook Liberian food so thank you sooooo much.

What kind of beef/meat? Please be specific. I want to get it as close to right as possible but need more details. Also do you use any type of smoke fish or stock fish. Thank you
@ToP5ReP

LivingLoud1974 If I can help, while every Liberian person makes it different, to answer your question, I and many other Liberians I know use stock fish and a little bit of smoke fish. Bonney fish also. Those three fishes gives it the real African/Liberian authentic taste when steaming it with the other meats. Most Liberians use stew beef, chicken thigh/breast/wing(your choice). I prefer thigh because its tender and juicy. Smoke turkey is optional but amazing in it. And I add shrimp sometimes. But many also put cow foot and pig foot. I hope this helps.
