Thank You Pedro! My Veleiro and Filamonica shave was inspired by you, so it’s now gone full circle. I think I have the last two tubes of veleiro in the world, I had to order them from America!!! I have still the Filamonica 14 I used a couple of years ago in my sights. I was given a bag of barbers stuff (for free) it was in there and I told the person what it was after I restored it and they wanted it back! I hope that one day they will sell it to me. I have ordered an Art Razor, Yurii said the Zodiac is based on the Filamonica 14, so I went for one in 8/8” and has mammoth tusk scales!

Thank you !! I know a few people here in Portugal that still have a decent stock, but they don't sell or sell for crazy money.. I have this one, mid use.. And another one unopened that was gifted to me not long ago. That one will hurt when finish..😅 Will try to make it last... Cheers !

@@pedrotrust semogue horse brush is next on my list as well. The veleiro is a real shame, oatcake soaps in the U.K. stopped trading at the start of Covid and I don’t think will start up again, another brand I really enjoyed.

Amazing technique so fast ! I always cut myself when I go against the grain, I think my blade is quite sharp (honed with naniwa 12000 and stropped, it passes the hanging hair test). I always go very slow atg but cut myself a lot especially under the nose. Do you have any tips, maybe the angle of the blade or pressure ? Thanks !

Hi ! We are all different, and what works for me, might not work for you.. But under the nose I try to move my head up and down and keep the razor as still as I can. No pressure as all. Low angle. Cheers ! Thanks for stopping by !
