Olá Matheus! Na minha opinião e experiência, uma navalha bem afiada é melhor que uma lâmina descartável produzida em massa. O melhor corte é aquele que corta a barba sem esforço e não irrita a pele, com as descartáveis muitas vezes a pele fica irritada. Obrigado pelo apoio !

Hi Josh, I'm in Portugal, Portuguese customs are a nightmare, from outside EU i paid once 25 euros duties for a razor e received for honing. So now I only accept razors sent from inside the EU.. 😒 Send an email if interested. [e-mail] Cheers !

Hi Pedro I hope you are doing great. If I may ask you a question. I usually sharpen with an 8k and then finish 12k synthetic ceramic , Naniwa stone. And inspired by your videos I tried a Jnat. Tried finishing on the Jnat Shibou stone both ways building a slurry and also experimented just with water. But the edges seem duller than with just the Naniwa in both cases. The shibou stone is super hard and smooth So I am puzzled a bit how to get the good result. Do you have any advice? The shibou stone is super flat and properly dressed.

Hello ! Try to finish the razor on your 12k , test shave.. If satisfied, then raise a very light slurry on your jnat and give it 20 /30 laps.. Then give it another 15/20 under light running water. Very light pressure, especially under water, wheight of the razor if you can.. Strop and test. Let me know the result.

Can be skiped the last Stone sharpening? I have used king1000/6000 after that strop it, and it seems not sharp enough

Its possible, but the work on the 1k needs to be impeccable. Only jump to 6k when you're 100% sure the bevel is perfectly set. For this you shave arm hair without any difficulty or try to cut a tomato skin or grape skin without the need to apply any pressure. Test the entire length of the edge, if a portion is not feeling right, go back and try again. Thanks for watching! 😉

@@pedrotrust I can't cut through tomato easily without any pressure, it's cutting hair from arm tho. but after second pass when I shave I get this terrible rash on my cheek looks like an alergic reaction ☹️ I'm new all of these sharpening and shaving with straight razor and I feel little disappointed.

@@arhit3cht Of you can't cut tomato skin with almost any pressure, theres no point going forward. That's the step 1. You really need to get that bevel set perfect.. Keep trying! Its normal the shave to be uncomfortable at the beginning.. You're learning the right pressure, angle, etc..

I've shaved daily for years, except one day a week. Day off, or weekend to let the skin fully recover. But I guess you can non stop if the technique is right.

How did you learn to use a straight razor? How long have you used a brush and razor?

Well. I learned the basics like correct way to hold a razor, correct angle, etc.. Then I practiced.. My job at the time, required to shave everyday.. . I stick with it, for a long time it was my only shaving method. Now I shave with a straight once or twice a week. I started traditional wetshaving in 2015. Thank you and take care!
