yeah i remember this fight as well...this was when oscar was using floyd jr stlye of using his shoulder rolling. Oscar was being trained by floyd sr and oscar was so thrilled to use his new stlye of defense shoulder roll....but as you can see that ocsars shoulder roll wasent working quite as well as effective as floyd jr does it.... but mentally oscar was soooooo prepared

@nickloks well the first fight i saw that made me think oscar was done was against sturm. in fact in my eyes he lost that fight. he was using the philly shell defense and trying to fight at middleweight. flat footed and slow. it was down hill from there.

@joeclemm15 Oscar wasnt even in his prime when he fought Sweet pee and sweet pee was the pound for pound best wen oscar fought him in his first fight at that weight . only reason oscar had trouble with the decision is that they counted the knock down and oscar steped on sweet pees feet and sweet pea moved them and oscar fell with the punch

@fredizzle23 First off, Punch stats dont always determine the winner. the clean more seen shots were landed by Floyd and FLoyd had better defense throughout the match. Second, The margin that judah is getting bigger and bigger. Floyd split 2 out of 4 rounds with Judah according to the judges. Then he won every round after that. Judah was given 3 rounds at the most out of 12 at the end of the fight...Judah didnt whoop anybody and he didnt "gas out" he just got broken down

@joeclemm15 The split decision to DLH was an injustice and a result of De la hoya hand picking the judges. The fight was under golden boy. Oscar chose the ref, judges, Floyd's gloves, ring size, venue, purse, weight..everything. Still lost. & like I said before, he entered the ring at 167. Floyd entered the ring at 148 after not being able to meet the limit at 154. If the fight was neutral and they were the same weight, Oscar would have been dominated.

@fredizzle23 How did Floyd have trouble with judah and Castillo? Floyd beat Castillo twice by unanimous decision and Judah won 2 out of 10 rounds against Floyd. I agree that Oscar is better than them, but that means nothing. Floyd is better that a prime Pernell Whitaker and Oscar barely beat a washed up Pee Wee in which many people say he was robbed. I think Oscar won it, but it was super close. If an old almost retired Pee Wee is virtually even with prime de la hoya, then..Floyd...well
