New format with this build... Went into all of the details as opposed to my previous artistic build videos, what are your thoughts?
@SquaredCircle7778 ай бұрын
I fucking LOVE build videos, especially in this format where you get into the details of the frame, components, and mechanic tips. Also cool used the first person POV to let all of us tweakers live vicariously through you lol.

Cool to see ibis put in that much detail with frame protection and what not. I spent 5hrs wrapping my Canyon Torque with a complete ride wrap kit. Can say I want to do it again haha. Bike looks good m8!
@PeterJamison8 ай бұрын
I can totally relate to your ride wrap experience on the Torque as I installed the exact same thing for a friend last summer... definitely a project. Anyways, yes, very cool to see from Ibis, and thanks for watching the video!

Wow I've been sleeping on ibis, they look really solid. Congrats on the new bike! I'm looking to get my hands on one of the new rocky altitudes for the summer!

Damn would've liked to see a summary of the shifting / brake bleed section

Thanks for the feedback, first time going for a super in depth build like this. I will include all the details through and through for the next one 👍🏼

Is a full bleed necessary for shimano after cutting the hose to size it or you think it will be okay with a lever bleed?
@PeterJamison8 ай бұрын
Just lever bleed does the trick!

Hey dude how tall are you and what is your leg inseam (jean size length like 32 etc) - curious because you are on a size 2 but I thought you were like 5'11
@PeterJamison6 ай бұрын
Yo! I am 5'11". Not sure as to my exact inseam. I have a bike check about the HD6 dropping on Monday in which I deep dive into my decision on frame size 🤙🏼 That will provide more info than I can type out here ✌🏼

@@PeterJamison holy moly I would think you are technically between an S3 and S4 given how short to wheel base is on this bike also the short chainstay which to me makes the bike feel incredibly unbalanced front to back
@PeterJamison6 ай бұрын
I chat about the wheelbase and chainstay length at length in the bike check, but in short: for me cockpit feel is everything, and I was worried about jumping up at a 480mm reach as I find around 460-465 to be my sweetspot 🤙🏼
