Actually, drawing everyday is not something you want to do. It’s basically forcing yourself to do something you don’t want to do! Art may be a passion, which is why you should follow your heart and not make yourself suddenly required to do it. Sorry for the whole essay 😅

Brush recommendations... * Watercolor Opaque 2 - Great for base colors and lineart!! Soft and layerable, and works well with the magic wand and bucket tools in my experience. * Fade Watercolor (Mix) - Love this brush for renderingggggg, also great for lineart. Very similar to the previous brush, but a bit denser. * Blurring Brush - Also nice for rendering, personally I wouldn't use it for lineart because of the fade at the end of the line, but I'd definitely use it for sketching! * Dip Pen (Soft) - Great for softer lineart that's also blendable. Not layerable, though. * Dip Pen (Hard) - My personal favorite for clean, precise, smooth lineart. Not sure if it would work as well for your personal style, but it's also my go-to for hard edges or things I want to make pop! (e.g. eye shines, foreground objects, etc.) Lastly I'd just encourage you to play around with the settings on the brushes! If something is exactly what you want with just one or two flaws, 9 times out of 10 it's something you could fix by changing the settings. I hope you find a brush you love!!!

U can use the soft Japanese pen (bleed) and put it to 3.0 (or any other number you like) and to get it to have smooth lines and texture you have to click the hand on the top next to the square shape and when you click it set the stabilizer to 10 and turn on force fade then set the length of the start and end to 18 (for the start) and 14 (for the end) the set the shape of fade to the liner/the second option this is for line art and it’s a default brush I hope this helped ❤

I like your logic behind the canvas size! For that ratio I usually go for 1985x2560 just because I like those numbers :3 edit: the background tutorial introduced a technique I never would have thought of! And despite the uh,,,,weirdness,,,,of the eyeball tutorial, I can see it coming in handy for making meme art, such as if a character needs to have two very slightly different expressions :3 Strange tutorial but useful tip! edit2: I'd love to hear more about how the brush affects the bucket tool - I go back and forth between selection coloring and bucket coloring since tweaking the corners of things like hair is always v annoying.

Hello!! about removing sketch from lineart, it wont really affect your lineart if the colour of the sketch is very high in saturation or if the contrast of the sketch comparing to the lineart is very high. Also, monochromatic colours for sketches wont really save you if you accidentally made the lineart in the same layer as the sketch. The divide layer is mainly to get a specific colour washed away, so it would be nice if you (for eg:) put the sketch layer as a very saturated colour (any colour thats clearly visible like blue or purple) and put the lineart as a dark colour like black and obviously youll have to lower the opacity for the sketch layer. Hope this helps
