I love matches like this. The techniques are clear and clean. Awesome!

I just watched his shin pass video on the KZbin a few video ago and then saw the same technic in the game. Amazing...

That looked like Roger Gracie. Only difference would have been closed gaurd initially.

Their games are really similar aren't they? Nothing fancy just fundamental guards and fundamental passes with a choke from the mount. They're both living proof that no matter how many leg locks or berimbolos you know they're not as good as the fundamentals.

@@giovaniveras8729 In what way are their games totally different? and in what way are they fancy? there's not much different about them and both aren't anything fancy

@@stolenidentity8270 jovem, vc deve provar que o jogo deles é parecido. Cabe a vc fazer isso. E o jogo deles não precisa ser parecidos para ser fancy. São diferentes e elegantes.

@@stolenidentity8270 to be fair, this basic flavor of BJJ (which I appreciate and frankly prefer) seems to be doing better in the heavier divisions. (Buchecha also did pretty simple stuff). the lower you go, in terms of weight, the more of leglocks, berimbolos and fancy stuff starts to appear. you can find exceptions on both sides of the spectrum of course, but the correlation is still there.

Great job by Adam! I wonder why Rider gave up after getting mounted...

not the first one and not the last one to seemingly give up... I think Adam's control in mount is just perfect, it doesn't really leave space for any counter-initiative
