As- salaammu- wa- alikum to uploader/ IPSI team. I am from the UK 🇬🇧 (London) and I know this video was filmed with good intentions for Dawah purposes. However Islam does not need sugar coating…🤦‍♂️, and if Islam requires advertising (this is not the way to advertise it 😔). (I have noticed many content 💻 coming out from places like Malaysia, Indonesia and poor south Africa regions who are sugar coating Islam nowadays. As much as I can admire the couple’s journey to Islam- not everything needs to be filmed frame by frame about ones spiritual journey 🤦‍♂️, as this videos sends out so many wrong messages about Islam to young muslims & non muslims alike- which undoubtedly distorts the religion of Islam. For example.. the couple on this video openly and casually say they were dating before marriage. (This shows its okay & acceptable for young muslim boys/girls to date before marriage). Also the fact that she’s not wearing hijab 🧕🏼 “on camera 🎥 “ indicates that the muslim men are casual & its not a big deal if the wife does not wear hijab while being filmed 🎥 by non mahram men. Therefore it is important to emphasise to all the viewers! This individual Malaysian man does not represent or speak for the other 80% of Muslim men in the world 🌎 who would have issues towards their wife not wearing hijab 🧕🏼 (convert or no convert). Likewise she does not represent the other 80% of convert muslim females that actually do wear hijab 🧕🏼 and understand that the hijab is the fundamental ABC’s of Islam. At least out of respect for this documentary she should have worn a hijab around her head or be advised by the husband. We know when a video is recorded for public it will be out there for life 📱. Or IPSI Dawah team should have given certain conditions before the filming took place - otherwise it defeats the whole purpose of what IPSI stand for 😞 🤦‍♂️. Another example is- There is a new trend of LGBT muslim couples trending on the internet. These couples would love any platform to express themselves. Therefore it is down to us practising muslims to always lead by example and stamp out any blasphemy. I personally have met many couples very similar to this couple (most recent is a pakistani brother that married a muslim convert english lady in 2019) and they would never agree to be filmed like this- (somethings in life are private and we should be careful exposing our sins). Especially during Dawah, that we don’t send out the wrong messages to the younger naive generation growing up. There are always other means of Dawah with criteria’s to follow and there is zero tolerance in Islam for specific things. Jazak Allah.

@@travelsphereuk-7090 I agree there are aspects which needed more thought. In the west ppl often tell their revert stories and include details like dating and drinking before they became Muslims. But dating in some countries isn't like it is in the west. Maybe you imagined something that never happened in reality. I know ppl call it dating when it's not the same as in the west. But Muslim men also don't respect western women as much which is another issue. We should still have husn al dhun about others. But ppl should hide their sins whether it's an old story or something more recent. We can pray to Allah to help us do better. Allah guide us all and keep us on the straight path.

If you translate the best of English or German or French or Persian or Chinese masterpiece literatures into your own language, different people will give different translations too to convey it’s message they think the most truthful or most befitting or most resembling to the original masterpiece. Isn’t it so? So who is DUMB? ONLY YOU. Before you make any stupid comment like an unlearned person, go learn Arabic first, then talk. European orientalists and even Arabic teachers dedicate their entire life to learn and penetrate the language.

Alhamdulillah, I would really wish that IPSI could expand its daawah to every state in Malaysia. As a born Muslim I think we become more complacent as we thought that we know this religion very well. We really thinks that Islam is only about performing rituals such as solah, fasting, performing hajj etc and that's is all about it. I found that we as Muslim especially Malay (I am a Malay) nowadays have forgotten about other aspects of religion such as compassion, empathy towards others, we do lot of back mouthing, we judge people based on their appearance and many more. We should really take our time to learn the Quran and not only reading it since there are infinite wisdom in every verse and in every single word. I pray that IPSI will continue to succeed, and I am happy to see lot of people come to Islam.

Quran 7:157 Pickthall: Those who follow the messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, whom they will find described in the Torah and the Gospel (which are) with them. In these modern times, where information is at the fingertips, those who are still bringing up these questions are only those who either live in a cave or are too blinded by hatred to see the truth and nothing could be done to change that. I am sorry that you have to spend time typing all those nonsense or at least make the effort to copy-paste it from another parrot, but I think trying to explain things to someone who has such an incurable hatred would just be a waste of time.
