ネネとアニーは、普段から互いに挑発し合っています。
アニーは、体も大きくなりネネと対等に対応できるようになりましたが、時折シャバーニが二人に止めるようにと介入します。
Nene and Annie provoke each other.
Annie grew so that his body became bigger and could cope evenly with Nene.
Occasionally Shabani intervenes so that two people stop fighting.

I think both of them wanted to play. Only Annie wanted to play rough and Nene only wanted to run and chase. When all hell broke loose at 3:05 I don't think Annie necessarily got away with it. She got "THE LOOK" 😠from dad that said, "settle down now". Though poor Nene did get bowled over in the end because "she is the grown-up and should know better" 🤨 Ai in the background couldn't be bothered less.😆 Oh and the toe tapping 6:44 "these women will be death of me" 😂🤣 What great catch to focus your camera on i Bosch it that was hilarious. As usual thank you very much.

It was mostly Annie trying to play rough with Nene. After Shabani bowled over Nene, she stopped wanting to play. But Annie would not leave her alone. That's why Shabani had to stand guard... and get impatient in the process. 🤪

The toe tapping had me in stitches... had me thinking of my Dad. I'm not sure if Nene was playing or not. I don't think it was malicious. But she was posturing, her lips were pulled into a tight line and puffed up for most of the vid. The lip pulling we know isnt her normal facial feature and it's a normal facial expression for silverbacks when posturing. I think Annie pushing her buttons just brought out her annoyance and dominance. Which she actually doesn't show very often. She also didn't go after Annie like normal either. Just once from the look of it in the back by the windows, but again Annie kept throwing straw. So she finally got annoyed enough to put a stop to Annie's behavior.

Noticing in some of these older videos that shabani has some bald spots. Did he have a habit of pulling his hair out? I’ve read some gorillas in captivity will do that. Love these older videos! ❤

i agree she looks alot well for a 46 year old female gorilla since after they rehouse the enclosure shes a good mum and grandmother to her children and ai is doing well shes a lovely female gorilla and shabani has calm done since the rehouse he looks more relaxed in his new enclosure

アニーも、体力では、ネネに引けを取らないほど成長したので、ネネとアニーのいがみ合いを見ても危機感なく見れます。ヒートアップした時は、シャバーニが走ってきますが、以前ほどシャバーニも仲裁しなくなりました。 アニーは、どんな意図があるか分かりませんが、ネネの懐に車庫入れの様に入ろうとします。 挨拶でしょうか？今では、ネネもアニーも互いを認めているような気がします。将来はベストフレンドですね😘

I LOVE seeing Shabani doing his "Dadly duty" so long as it doesn't get "out of hand" ...HaHa... (Pardon the pun...) *: )* Seriously... I really enjoyed watching this comedic family "interaction"...especially when Dad started to impatiently tap his toes while trying to be patient with the shenanigans & roughhousing of his family ...HaHa...He'd rather eat his lunch & take a little nap... I wish he & Nene would engage with one another more often...Showing their playful sides together...(It makes me think of Jambo's more tender & loving side...HaHa) Maybe there'll be a little sibling jealousy while the kids are thinking "No...Play with us instead... i Bosch...I hope you'll always remember how appreciative your followers are of all your efforts...​Your videos are so enjoyable to us "regulars"...

I used to think Nene was picking on little Annie. BUT now that Annie is older and a bit bigger, Annie looks like she's trying to show dominance over the matriarch. It's time for Nene to put Annie in her place. She needs to understand the hierarchy within the group. The little princess needs taken off the pedestal Shabani put her on. Loved seeing Nene running around! Altho I do miss seeing her and Shabani's teasing antics and chasing. 😆😆

Actually I don't think he was protecting her. He was staring her down. Asserting herself isn't the best policy in a group hierarchy. Annie has to learn, especially if she is sent to another gorilla group for mating purposes someday.

Joelene C. I agree with you. I have seen a few videos where Annie picked on Nene unmercifully. Nene would take it and take it and try to move away but Annie would not let up. I think at 3:05 Shabani definitely let Annie know it was time to stop.

Joelene C. I agree with everything you said, Shabani needs to teach Annie hierarchy rule if she will ever make it in another group. It wouldn’t be like this if Ai would have raised her, but right now she is a little instigator and dad will have to lay down the law one day, or Nene will get hurt by him again. I do believe it was all play today but dad knew it could change in an instant with Nene. Does Nene look pregnant to you?

She just didn't display any signs of maternal instincts after giving birth and wasn't taking care of her so the zoo stepped in and had to raise her. Even when they showed her through the gate only Shabani visited with her. He spent hours watching her while Ai ignored her.
