Of all the femme-fatales and mysterious women that hit the screen back in 1992, Sharon Stone headed the list in beauty and talent. Winner of several awards like Prime time Emmy, Golden Globe and Oscar nominated for Casino [1995], Sharon will never be forgotten for her role as famous author, Catherine Tremell, where she essayed the brilliant bi-sexual, displaying enough come-on/carnality to singe the screen. This film established her as Bombshell of the 90's. The film did more for female empowerment than any feminist rally. The symmetry of her gorgeous looks still haunt me when I spot shots from Basic Instinct. I spent one half of a Sunday viewing all her interviews on KZbin which was total pleasure.
