Sorry my friend, I think you should watch again. He explained the situation the club is in reasonably well. More so than I have heard in recent years. Watch it again pal. I know that the current situation is not the best but to say he didn't explain things well is not accurate mate. How long has he been in the job? I think he explained very well the challenges that we are facing and that situation need to be intelligently recognised by the supporters. The expectation is huge, but we need some realism here and some business understanding. We're unlikely to win the league this year (you never know) but we need to be realistic and understand that a long term project here is the only option. Reality needs to set in and be accepted.

What is the actual policy from the board on the player trading strategy? We've spent £11m so far, how? Never heard any of these questions answered and that is what was required.

With the best will and intention, maybe the contractor working a 3 x 8hr round the clock shift pattern to condense the works into a shorter time period, we may have a successful completion of the Copeland Stand Project by the end of September, when everybody can feel good again about the season. All of this frustration will be worth it when the project is complete and we have our disabled fans properly accommodated, given that they have been asking for better facilites for many years. It's most important not to repeat the pre-planning mistakes for the next stadium development project at Ibrox. The sooner we expand Ibrox to beyond 60,000 capacity, the better we can harness the economies of scale. Notwithstanding, that the noise of the fans in the redeveloped stadium will be awesome and a real help to the team going forward. We already have the best football stadium in Scotland, now we are just making it better. Maybe a reward will be hosting another European final, where UEFA can throw £5Million our way, for the pleasure.

I would imagine the board will be asking the firm who are responsible for the project to either compensate or provide a discount. The contractor has sold the board up the river by the sounds of it although, overseas delays are predictable no matter how common they can be.

For me I believe the long term succeeds when you invest in some real quality short term additions ie experienced players that can improve the long term for project/youth players by being a maintainer of the standards of the club and proper role models for them to be challenged at the level the strive to reach. The problem is weve fallen way short of that since Beale and id argue the signs of that were even earlier too. If we only bring in long term players we will continue to cycle and never improve in my opinion. The squad badly needs competence!

Materials are often the biggest issue on sites, that and pricks of site managers lol. Overseas delays happened before Covid and Brexit but they got worse bevause of both. As for blaming the board for Ibrox works delays, that is mental considering they would have hired a construction firm to deliver the project. As Bennett saidz he has had calls telling him all is fine then gets told there are delays. Is he meant to breach contract with the contractor and remove the work from Ibrox? No, that would cost the club a fortune. Board is backing Clement so no issue there.

ALL steel in Britain comes from overseas Mills mate. Chinese steel has become more popular over the years bevause of the cost yes but sadly it increases the chances of these delays. None of this is Bennetts of the clubs fault, they hire a steel construction firm for these projects and the firm deals with everything. The board just tell tje firm what they want then they sign off on Architects designs. The rest is handed over to the firm doing it all.

Bennett is getting stick from certain fans like yourself bevause you know nothing about everything you all moan about. You want expect everything and pay ZERO attention to reality. Steel gets delayed which is out of everyone's control and you blame the board for it like they caused the delay. Seen the interview. So we are basically to go through another 2 or three years of winning nothing. We buy at Poundland from now on. If we get knocked out of the first qualifying round then the Europa qualify. We loose out on the £30m European money we have averaged over thee last 4 or 5 years. This project should never have been started absolute incompetence all round. Simply offsetting player trading income to outcome doesnt work. What about Europe, increased revenue. All of which has to be taken into account. Ross wilson was an absolute disaster for us and we are still paying for it, and it is the same board. 35 first team now at 30 and looking to trim to 25 getting us ready for next window. Our youth academy costs us £5million pa do you feel thats justified by the talent it brings to the 1st team or should we scrap it and go for best European talent for the same value ever year?
