Nabitin ako boss hinihintay ko sna na itest mo isa isa para malaman nmin kung ano ang bad or good ic according sa reading ng tester..kelangan ba pare pareho ang reading ng lahat ng pin nya mula sa pin 1&2 pataas..vlog ka rin sna boss sa digital tester ang gamit sa pag test ng ic...tnkz!

Hi. This is not verbatim but it essentially translates like so: There are different ICs, some are MOSFETs which look like transistors, some are flat, some have long pins or legs. A CPU is an type of IC as well. The purpose of ICs is 1) regulate voltage, 2) controller for circuit, 3) ampliefies power sound (IC with tall legs or pins on the left on the video) and for clocks. One must know the circuit of the IC by searching for it's datasheet online or elsewhere. The unit must then be powered on, (or one could use a bench power supply to have more control of the voltages and amperages) put the black probe on the ground pin on the IC (based on the datasheet: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6Obe4CYfchgrrM). First pin is always on the left side which is indicated by usually on the side where an indentation is and then there's a mark 0 on that side which is always pin 1. Using the voltage measurement of the tester, the voltage must be the same as the one on the datasheet to signify it's working. Another test which does not need the unti to be turned on, is using the resistance (ohms) feature of te test but it needs a known working IC of the same value (same IC) and you probe it with the black probe on the ground pin of the IC (ground pin will be indicated on the IC's datasheet), if the resistance value is different compared to the known working one, the IC is bad.
