take right side of restore next and craft a t4 staff with support - regeneration and support - status resistance. conjure wildgrowth gives 2 times the support effects, so you get 10 hp, 3 regen, 2 bolst def, 2 bolst resist and 2 status protection every cast. cast this first turn, turn your bolstered buffs into 4 strengthend and 3 fortune with your industrious buff spell at the start of turn 2 and cast another conjure wildgrowth. now you have a completely offensive buffed stack with 5 regen, 2 bolst def, 2 bolst resist and 8 status resistance at the start of turn 2. nothing but spellbreakers can stop you while you blow through their lines. ritualists are generally broken but completely busted with industrious.

I am already testing Industrious and I try to do sth with a problem of basically non damage except physical. I chose tome of Fey Mists, just to try those crazy skirmisher and mists, not sure if it work great, but really fun. I suppose Tome of Fey Mists would fit this build as well.

You have a very pleasant style. Don't know how much work it us, but would like to see, from you, heavily edited let's plays- down to ? 2-3h sessions.

I understand that you craft these builds purely with optimization in mind, and I don't mind that. However, could you consider bringing some of more thematic builds? I have noticed a lot of your builds are a mish-mash of all the alignments, and I was spending some time trying to tweak them to fit into a more defined theme. Not that im complaining, just putting out the idea. This might also be beneficial for you since, as you mentioned, the alignments got more strict with the new patch.

Yeah, most of my old builds basically don't work anymore. Which is a good thing, I find the new affinity restrictions wonderful, as they define builds more. I am currently working on more builds which focus on two affinities mostly, which seemed to work out best so far.

What do you think about tome of warding? Gives all support abilities bolster resistance (2x synergies well with the industrius supports)
@Ic0nGaming3 күн бұрын
It was on my list of choices, but it fell off the list due to wrong affinity colors. Since the newest update you really gotta be careful so you get the proper T3/T4 Tomes together affinity-wise. It would be amazing, but not for this build. I am currently working on different iterations of Tank Builds and one of them will surely utilize this tome, as it IS a massive fit for this culture specifically indeed!

Icon is there a way to avoid the stuck loop on the map when the end turn is caught “waiting on Combat”
@markbutler93093 күн бұрын
Zoom out to the map, makes it all go faster as not rendering the individual units etc

I LOVE industrious but they REALLY need some new stuff to keep up with all the new content.
@Ic0nGaming3 күн бұрын
Well, they do have some sick synergy with the newest Tomes, but I definitely agree. All the baseline Cultures could use the "Mystic Culture Treatment"

I think that Industrious would be pretty low on my list of who needs new stuff. Their units are good. Some of the best tier 1s in the game and Bastion. Then, prospecting is crazy strong. They build up their first city faster than anyone else with it. Over time it builds up a lot of items, too. Their heroes are capable of really good equipment.

I only have one question, can someone explain autoresolve to me? Just played a game against ai, where I went Dwarves industrial, tome of enchantment, tome of warding I think it was called, a dark tome, tome of glade, a tome for steel skin, tome of the dreadnaught and the tome for the gold golem. Each of my armies had an army power of like 1500 plus, two bastions, steel shaper, gladerunner, and dreadnaught plus hero. Fought an autoresolve against the ai where I had like 6,000 army strength vs 1700 and I got completely wiped. There is just something I’m not understanding here but of course I am coming from total war warhammer.

In short: Auto-Resolve sometimes is acting completely stupid around your units mechanics and quite often doesn't even use some of your most powerful moves. In battles with higher meaning it is pretty normal to tussle them out manually. That 6k vs 1.7k loss though is really weird and can't say anything about it without knowing what was going on. I do know though that sometimes the AI can get some really sick combos going which aren't reflected in those power numbers. Generally, these power numbers are abstractions and tend to be quite okay-ish, but there's some fringe cases which don't reflect the numbers properly at all. Fighting against any AI necromancers for example can be really tough if they got the Necromancer unit and high tier undead units together. That's one example, but there's some other case of AoE-Stuns and such which also can wreck the Auto-Resolve battle massively. Hope this helped somewhat o/
